A man was shot and killed near a bus stop at one of the busiest intersections in Northeast D.C. News4’s Paul Wagner talked to a woman who showed up to the scene in tears after hearing the victim may have been a family member.

Lawmakers need to make it easier for law abiding citizens to obtain firearms to protect them and their families. The gun laws of DC do absolutely nothing to stop criminals from having guns. Only law abiding citizens follow the law and they can't obtain a gun for protection. These places with the strictest gun laws (Chicago, NY, all of California) only make law abiding citizens easy targets.
