Not my first time readings or hearing this sad tale but I believe it was the best yet.

I believe this has been announced as this year's GSFC on the BBC, adapted and directed by Mark Gatiss. Good timing.

I love this story and I'm glad you've included in the Victorian Compilation of Ghost Stories. So, I've actually listened to this story both ways since yesterday. However, I've heard several times before. My only complaint is that the writer did not include any comments by the Irish Doc upon finding the wife passed. The doctor had chastised her husband so severely that I'd loved to see his explanation of the marble broken finger. Who's the "c○ward"?? I am going to become a member around 3rd of November. Got try to support my favorite narrators and writer's!!
