First of all the bus isn't original, it's a old VW not Mercedes. Secondly the bus parts are nothing to do with the VW camper. The whole thing is two different vehicles put together.

As an automotive structural engineer, I can almost guarantee this is a disaster waiting to happen. Whenever you design a new vehicle or remodel, extreme precautions must be made to avoid top-heaviness. The upper deck should be constructed with ultra-light materials. The vast majority of wood species do not qualify as ultra-light. The steel structure should also be strongly considered. The use of Titanium is ideal; whereas, carbon steel is uber heavy and thus highly undesireable.
