75, 76 what times they were! Win or lose we had a good booze & 74 we mostly lost! The football after relegation was some of the best we ever saw. Doc's Red Army! 77 Beat Liverpool to win the FA cup.

Agree with every word you wrote. Ratcliffe has a clear plan that he has started to execute. He recognised United was the worst run club in England and immediately started to look for capable people to appoint to key positions. He has already shown that he isn't going to get bent over by all and sundry to get the people he wants, which is something long overdue at United. We need to stick to our valuations and move on if a club wants more. A club like United should never be in PSR trouble, but we have been for several years because of how poorly we have been run. The worm will turn under strong stewardship.

I been saying this about Garnacho since he burst onto the scene decent player. He has horrible first touch and close control and he hasn't improved in those areas.

Well. This is why I protested in the rain, ironically, outside Old Trafford when the takeover was announced. I knew this day would come. There weren’t many of us there. It’s all very sad.

The worst day for the club since the Munich plane disaster, but at that time I never thought that the Glazers would run the club into the ground with almost 20 years of utter mismanagement and greed. SAF managed to disguise that for a while, but after he left it was fully exposed.

@@gustaaf1892indeed. The whole debacle is completely immoral. While other clubs with barely any sporting merit have won the lottery, a club like United have been leached off and destroyed by disgusting foreign owners. It should never have been allowed.

I feel your pain. I was thankful it wasn’t a battering. And I took some pleasure in the women’s team winning the FA cup earlier. It’s just a mess and I’m not sure where we go from here. We just have to keep the faith and hope next season is better.

fair play to Andy, giving us his ratings amongst the depressing backdrop of a leaking OT and a chorus of elated arsenal fans... couldn't have been easy hence the downbeat tone of the video. I think on reflection though and in isolation this wasn't the worst performance (bar is low) by any stretch. A proper patch work of a team very little experience or impact on the bench. Players definitely put in the effort and certainly didn't embarrass themselves today. This doesn't feel like it did at the end of Jose & Ole or during the whole of the Rangnick era. I'm behind ETH, he has been dealt an unbelievably bad hand this season, never known anything like it when it comes to the injuries. ETH's whole time at the club has been under the shadow of uncertainty with the long, drawn-out takeover - I do not believe there is one club or manager in world football that could operate successfully under these circumstances. Give it time, let the structure settle in, let's see what ETH can do with his team next season.... it's been a long 10 years but we're finally at an inflection point... it'll feel so much sweeter when it comes GGMU!!!

How is no one inside the club bothered about that leaky roof at OT that's been around for years now? You don't need a billion pound rebuild to maintain the dignity of this place. People treat Old Trafford as if it's some third grade wasteland that can only be fixed by a massive rebuild or a teardown. But it's not. It just needs a little more care from the people in charge.

Great commitment to get this out if you've been up since 3am, especially with the Arsenal boom and bust rollercoaster in full tune in the background! Thanks Andy (again). I was actually expecting more of a hiding ttytt. But for that lapse by Casemiro and some poor decision making by Garnacho (kid needs learn to lift up his head and scan for team-mates when bombing gung-ho towards the goal-line) I think we'd have snuck a draw. Much better commitment by most players and I was really glad to see Amad finally get his start … although poor subs by EtH again in my opinion. We will now only get European footy in the Europa League through the FA Cup final as we will never make the Europa Conference League (seventh is looking unlikely with the fixtures left). Might be a blessing. Congratulations to the United women showing the way too!

35 year United fan. Imagine signing Antony for 90mil. He’s scored 2 goals this year and he’s pulling out stuffed animals to celebrate. Then throws a fit when asked to do a job for the team and play left back for a short time. This is the sort of character we are spending big money on. It’s nothing short of a disgrace. What a joke we have become in 11 years. No one should ever underestimate the absolute genius and sheer force of nature that was Alex Ferguson. He single handedly held United together for 26 years. The word legend isn’t big enough for him.

Was in Stretty end, and my key take aways were we looked decent at times without threatening. But Arsenal were happy to get the one goal and shut up shop. As we sang, 1-0 and you’ll win fuck all….Arsenal fans were just awful. Very quiet. You’d think their season was over already. Speaking with an Arsenal fan before the match in town and he wasn’t overly confident. So maybe that’s why they only sang when they scored. Something clicked at the start of second half with the United fans, and it was almost like we became defiant. Never stopped singing. And despite all the travails we’ve seen, I’ve never felt as proud as a United fan. We will always be there. Club don’t deserve us, but we’ll still be there singing and supporting. Because that’s what you do. Up the Fucking Reds.

That would have been interesting... United didn't play that bad, no player below a 6 perhaps some 7's ? But that's the problem (other than Jonny Evans 10) no colective outstanding performances.

Relegation form if ETH remains and these players. I watched in the 73 and this was the worst team I have seen this season. I just cannot understand this playing back with the goalkeeper. It is not the united way.

I expected us to get hammered and we were close to being on par with Arsenal. With this team we did quite well. Ten players out with injury, which was actually two less than the last game. Six academy kids on the bench with most of them there to fill all the slots on the team sheet and to get exposure to the first team because they are nowhere near ready to play in the Prem. We are a mess, which is why I'm looking forward to the Ratcliffe revolution taking shape. He has started from the top and is working his way down. ETH the next one to be replaced and then a whole host of players. It will take a few years, but we're finally going to see a properly run football club after the Glazers ran it into the ground by having clueless people in charge.

The Devil Women won the cup in front of 73,000 at Wembley. Over 100,000 Utd fans watched both teams. I’m more optimistic for the future after today. ETH finally gave up in his polo mint midfield. Mainoo 96% pass completion. We played some better football. Garnacho just needs to improve his final product but boy does he work. If they’d just played like this v lesser teams we wouldn’t be in this mess. We need to win our last 3 games. Tall order.

We were frantic , Keystone cops . Arsenal made the game look so much easier with their accuracy in passing, but even more , their positioning to be available for a pass . We need to learn so so much to be even a basic football team to be able to build on to challenge. Miles off .

Yes Casemiro was slow getting out. Onana’s kick out (about did often yesterday) went straight to an Arsenal player with time and space to control and pass down wing. Cross / Cut back came in and surprise surprise Arsenal scorers steels a match and scores. All to familiar. So yes blame Casemiro but there were others culpable too 😊

If Bruno had played today, Andy, we could have won (not would have, but could have). They were there for the taking. However, compare their game management with ours v Chelsea, Liverpool, Brentford etc. Garnacho needs to be told to pass. I know this sounds harsh, but if you can do thousands of keepie puppies but not understand how to play the game; i.e. knowing how to link with teammates and pass the ball, you're a circus act, not a professional footballer. He's a young player but this has been going on all season. Where is the coaching? I saw a stat, before the game, that showed that Hojlund has had just 35 opportunities, this season. He's scored 14. That's a remarkable conversion rate. I would suggest that most of those opportunities were created by Bruno. Those playing to the right and left of him have been more interested in personal glory than team success. I know that the fans are split, but the on field issues have not been addressed, team selections have rewarded bad performances, with just two games to go, we still have a negative goal difference, too many injuries are not directly related to games, The only reason young non ETH signings have got games, is due to desperation. This cannot be allowed to continue. Even if we manage to win the FA Cup, Ten Hag has to go.

It's tough, and will get tougher. High chance of no European football next season. FFP cracking down, we have a ton of deadwood players thats unsellable because of silly wages. I predict next season to be just as bad, no matter who is manager, and perhaps this will first turn in a year or two. Patience is needed.

Andy don’t take it to heart. When I saw the line up I was expecting the worst. I thought Amad Diallo played well. If Hojlund had taken that early chance we could have made a game of it. I started going to OT in 1979 and seen a lot of peaks and troughs. Fergies first few years were not great. Keep your chin up. End of the day it’s a game of football.

@@briayne2660 United never once threatened the Arsenal goal with anything other than flimsy attacks. Arsenal hit the bar and also had a moment in the second half when Onana made 3 saves. United are now 2 wins from 11 games. That is relegation form. Watching them live today United are obviously badly coached. No gamble on Ten Haag learning how to coach quickly. Fire Ten Haag Now!
