No idea why this popped us a recomended watch for me as a Stockport County fan, we might only be a few miles from United but we're worlds apart in many other respects, anyway I'm glad I watched it, Tony O'Neil spoke really well and the reds in attendance were a credit not just to their club but to their country.

Love my Man Untd and the world has shown it's respect to the greatest club. Watching this so power, emotional that tears flowed down my cheeks. In that two minutes of silence you could feel heaviness in the air. The sadness and pain of that day 64 years ago still felt. Busby babes died that day but their spirit still lives on and watching it fans every day. Out of tragedy like a phoenix, Manchester United risen from the flames, saying we'll never die, we are Manchester United. We will Remember and Not be Forgotten. Flowers Of Manchester still gets me and when I see the words how impacting they are. No we will never forget. We will say these names forever. RIP Busby Babes. God bless Manchester and Munich and all who are suffering that peace be with you.

One cold and bitter Thursday in Munich, Germany, Eight great football stalwarts conceded victory, Eight men will never play again who met destruction there, The flowers of English football, the flowers of Manchester Matt Busby’s boys were flying, returning from Belgrade, This great United family, all masters of their trade, The pilot of the aircraft, the skipper Captain Thain, Three times they tried to take off and twice turned back again. The third time down the runaway disaster followed close, There was slush upon that runaway and the aircraft never rose, It ploughed into the marshy ground, it broke, it overturned. And eight of the team were killed as the blazing wreckage burned. Roger Byrne and Tommy Taylor who were capped for England’s side. And Ireland’s Billy Whelan and England’s Geoff Bent died, Mark Jones and Eddie Colman, and David Pegg also, They all lost their lives as it ploughed on through the snow. Big Duncan he went too, with an injury to his brain, And Ireland’s brave Jack Blanchflower will never play again, The great Matt Busby lay there, the father of his team Three long months passed by before he saw his team again. The trainer, coach and secretary, and a member of the crew, Also eight sporting journalists who with United flew, and one of them Big Swifty, who we will ne’er forget, the finest English ‘keeper that ever graced the net. Oh, England’s finest football team its record truly great, its proud successes mocked by a cruel turn of fate. Eight men will never play again, who met destruction there, the flowers of English football, the flowers of Manchester

He's never sang about the dead like the Liverpool fans do about Manchester United players that cherished on the worst day of most people's worst day ever. Manchester United had the greatest team the world had ever seen,the best there has ever been , they played like a dream, made the world scream, everyone said "oy aye what a team, and boy can they play, the European cup will come 'ome to stay, along with the world cup, these players will win it for us one day" Duncan Edwards was better then Maradonna, Ronaldo 7,9, Pele and Messi all rolled into one, that's how good he was. He played one game only using his head and still scored a long range goal after beating five men only using his head!! No player could do that today! All the English players would of been playing at 66 and Manchester United would of won the European cup, Division 1 (now the premiership),Fa Cup for the next twenty years continuous, it's in no doubt to any man that saw them with there own eyes. Manchester United are the most loved club in the whole world and most successful and representative of everything good about football and without them there would be no premiership, be no football on TV, no football media as it's only about Manchester United and there would be no fans of football as everyone would dislike the game for what Liverpool done to the game when they were dominant and all the shame Liverpool brought to the game so everyone thanks Manchester United for restoring love back into the game! I wonder if Tony's friends at Old Trafford think like he does when they're belting out songs about Hillsborough?
@KryptonitetoallBS8 ай бұрын
I've never heard any song mentioning Hillsborough inside OT......EVER!!! The only time I ever heard Hillsborough mentioned/sung about by any support was by Leeds fans in 1991 on holiday in Majorca. The song which I have heard is "Murderers" which in my mind is a direct reference to Heysel NOT Hillsborough, where 14 LFC fans were found guilty of the manslaughter of 39 Juve supporters. On the other hand Liverpool invented and sang about Munich from the late 60's through till 1989. Those are the facts !!
