Thanks for uploading this. A great video. We might not have won much in the 70’s but some of the football we played was brilliant. Especially when Tommy Doc was manager. Exciting football and playing the game the way it should be played.

Why he have affair tskk

I know he did but he shouldn’t have got sacked because of that. We would have won a lot more if he’d stayed at United. Maybe not the league title but a lot more cups.

Best years off my life watching MUFC from 1973, wagging school, going shopping for all the housewives in my street, they couldnt believe it when I came back with everything for half price. I had half the street asking me could I do their shopping🤣and thats how i got my ticket.

They didn’t dominate the decade, didn’t even win the league, one trophy and relegation but United STILL remained the biggest supported club and was always the number one story in English football.

That goal by Best at 9:20. It was a school night and I had to beg my dad to let me go to the match because all my mates were going. He gave in, gave me a £1 note, and I got to see one of the greatest goals scored by Bestie. Lovely pass by John Aston. Bobby Charlton's opener wasn't too shabby either.

Amazing how sir matt played for liverpool and city and Brian Kidd essentially has history of both Manchesters and applauded while others are booed

Pity Tommy Docherty got the chop..he was the best during the 70s Miles better than Dave Sexton, I think he was crap.

Mmm, you missed out an awful lot of mediocrity and some down right shite. We got relegated by one of our ex best players, Bestie was shown the door and we managed to win one FA cup. Christ even the shit we've got now could probably manage that. I do miss standing in the old Stretford End when it was still slightly better than a cow shed and the away games, ahh the away games, on the trains, on the buses, and on the piss!
