I played las Americas and Adeje back in June, and loved them both. I've got to say that the front nine at Adeje is one of the most stunning I've ever played, what a course. There's loads of room to hit the driver on the 4th at Adeje. 👍

Las Americas is well worth a visit, the greens were lightning. The Seve Ballesteros course nearer the North of the island (Buenavista) looks beautiful.

Im playing Americas and Adeje in late September this year. Cant wait. Bit worried that the courses will be ridiculously busy though.

Stays and played at Abama in 2015 loved the course / resort and the par 3 3rd was a lovely but a challenging hole - very well played Sir 😉

I am lucky enough to live here in Tenerife and have to say we have some amazing golf courses here, you should be aware that the summer is the quiet season for golf due to the heat, you will find summer works are often carried out during this period. This weekend I am playing in the John Lowe Charity Golf Classic 2018 at Amarilla Golf Course in aid of Amate breast cancer care in Tenerife, its a great day out 9am tee off followed by Barbeque, prize giving, raffle and auction and some great entertainment.

My favourite golf course is las Americas ,just come back from 7 days of golf last week ,been over there loads of times ,I find Golf del sur more tricky and the vocanic bunkers do take some getting used to .Nice video .

I have been playing golf on Tenerife, Lanzarote and Gran Canaria for years, but now find the Course fees prohibitively high. I still enjoy holidaying on the Islands but leave my clubs at home, which is a shame because some of the courses were pretty stunning!

Is it better to book the hotels with inclusive golf packages?

It possibly would be, but my wife (a non-golfer) and I prefer to rent private apartments rather than stay in hotels. I spent most of my working life staying in hotels and now I'm retired I find staying in an apartment/villa more relaxing. Basically I'm just an "Oked owd Bugga" 😎👍

Las Americas was the best . loved it! Del Sur, was not so good as they had just plugged the greens, still enjoyed all the golf there, normal on holiday eh?? Adeje had good reviews but the greens were terrible, unputtable ! Like I said "Americas was the best"!!

I only saw the Las Americas course from a quick stop at the las madrigueras hotel which was also very nice!

Shame mate, its a lovely course, plenty of water but the fairways were excellent, and the greens top, hope you had a good time!! regards( was at Liams charity day last week, its a long way for me, but wanted to support his charity day, im down near Pickard/Crossfield etc (Salisbury)
