My dad had one of these thirty years back. A lot of his mates preferred Scania but he always swore by MAN, said they were the best trucks he had ever driven and he had been driving trucks since the early 60s.

Mercedes SK 1850 trucks the same sound I saw Mercedes trucks in 1991 better than man trucks in shape and comfort brother I see the trucks Man TGX 2008 - 2021 the best truck I saw only or the remaining shapes is not beautiful in the company Man Amaya Mercedes beautiful in both aspects but one form I did not like more Mercedes SK 1850 trucks the same sound I saw Mercedes trucks in 1991 better than man trucks in shape and comfort brother I see the trucks Man TGX 2008 - 2021 the best truck I saw only or the remaining shapes is not beautiful in the company Man Amaya Mercedes beautiful in both aspects but one form I did not like the most Actros MB1 & LKW 1624

Holy shit. Did not know there was a V10 diesel lorry like that. Only thought there were the V-8 scania, mack powered Renault's and Merc 15 liter v-8. Question - your MAN truck there is not from the UK? Wondering why you have left hand drive? ...cheers from Canada I got to see my first Scania up close in Arrochar. There was a parking lot (now community center) where a local timber hauling company used to park loaded trucks.

mercedes v8 is 14,6 lit max power 530hp,scnaia is 14,2 mp 530hp15,6 mp 620hp 16,35 renault with mack e9 v8 is 16,4litres mp 625hp.m.a.n v10 is 18,27litres with double turbo 500-600 hp...

I got between 3.5 mpg (hard hilly terrain and 6 mpg over better going. Running at 40ton. Hope that helps you👍🏻

what kind of gearbox is this, that you have to double clutch?

It is classic ZF Doppel-H gearbox ,standard on MAN's F90 and F2000, 16 speed and it is synchronised, no need to double clutch

She's good with the crane trailer on. Think the crane on the front of the trailer helps put some weight over the drive axle. But she's not as good with a flat or skelly off road. Just spins if you lose momentum. Load her up though and she's off again!

2200 rpm between shifts .... In red .... Why .... You don't hear the sound of the engine .... You see that when you shift from 4 to 5 that the gearbox hardly enters 5 gears because the revs are already too high .... That's not how gears are shifted ... You're destroying the gearbox

Thank you very much for your enlightening advice! Would it be possible to show me how it is done as I would hate to destroy my gearbox’s! Your knowledge of driving and correct manipulation of the gearbox has blown my mind! I will be grateful for an extremely detailed instruction on how this is done in the correct manner with illustrations and possibly a video demonstration! In the meantime I will stop driving at once as I can see how upsetting this is to you! Again thank you! 🤔🤓🤓🤓👍🏻

@@g.douglastimberhaulage.nor3190 In 4 gears you go up to 2200 rpm ... you switch to 5 gears and your revs drop to 800 rpm and at that moment you push into 5 gears, 3:00 min video .... If you are at 2200 rpm in 4 gears when you shift to 5 gears your speed must not fall below 1500 rpm or skip 5 and put in 6 ... you are empty and you have 500ps😉 ...

@@g.douglastimberhaulage.nor3190 I drove the same 502 with zf gearbox .... I drove 4 years man 19 422 with EatoN fuller gearbox so I know what I'm talking about .... Did you drive a fuller gearbox ?????Try to switch the fuller gearbox from 4 to 5 the way you switch ..... When you try that you will understand what I am talking about ....

Nicht ganz. Die grüne Markierung gibt lediglich den wirtschaftlichsten Drehzahlbereich an, wo der Motor am meisten Drehmoment entwickelt und gleichzeitig am wenigsten Kraftstoff verbraucht. Mit dem Getriebe hat das erstmal nix zu tun. Das Getriebe schrottet man eher durch ruppige Fahrweise, verschalten und schlechtes kuppeln. Hohe Drehzahlen verkraftet ein Motor grundsätzlich ohne Probleme solange das Motoröl vorher auf Temperatur gebracht wurde, ansonsten hast du schnell mal Lager- und Turboschäden aufgrund mangelnder Schmierung.
