I agree with nearly everything Ray says and love what he does but the one thing he says that results in works based salvation, if he means it how the words he says would imply, is that repentance is turning from your sins and not simply a change in mind. Repentance is "metanoia" in Greek, which is a change in mind. So in a sense it is turning from sin but it's mentally done, not physically in actions. This comes naturally with putting genuine faith in Christ. You can't have genuine faith and not have a changed attitude about sin. Which results in you physically in action turning from sin. But that part of it plays no part in you obtaining salvation. It's putting genuime faith in Christ that saves. God bless and much love ❤️✝️

I think perhaps this needs looking into a little more. On the surface it seems outrageous. But it is actually a little bit more complicated than a lot of Christian commentators are saying. The Algerian participant has a dsd. At birth it was assumed that she was female because she appeared female externally. (This happens when there is a problem with the Gene expression of the SRY gene on the Y chromosome, because the body is lacking instructions, it goes to the X chromosome instead for the missing instructions, and the baby develops as a female). With this dsd it is usually impossible to discover the problem during childhood. Some women with this disorder do not discover the problem until they try to get pregnant. It was only at puberty when she began developing as a male that it was understood that she was likely not female. This was confirmed by a DNA test. In her country it is illegal to change sex, so she is still registered as female. Whether or not she should have been allowed to compete in a female category is a very controversial and complicated question. I am of the opinion that the answer should be no she should not, because the Y chromosome still provides considerable physical advantages over XX females. But unless more information comes out proving that it was a male that knew it was male all along and deliberately trying to pretend otherwise, it is not correct to say that she is trans.

They are not denying basic genetics, they are acknowledging the complications involved in the genetics of a dsd. She is not a trans person, she is biologically developmentally female, and can get pregnant. She has a womb and all the female parts apart from the ovaries. She also has a y chromosome but it's defective. She has spent her entire life from birth being told that she is female, because when examined when she was born they saw female parts and said "oh look it's a girl." They only discovered she had a y chromosome when there was concerns about her looking masculine after puberty. It's not legal to change your sex in Algeria, so she still officially female. Given that she's capable of getting pregnant, and she has all the female bits, it's not a hard and fast thing to say that she's a man.

Furthermore, it's important to note that Algerian society recognizes only two genders. Concepts like male-to-female or female-to-male transitions are predominantly Western. There is not one commandment in the New Testament for Christians to keep the Sabbath holy. If there was, I would gladly keep it and would encourage others to also. Jesus also omitted the Fourth Commandment: Mark 10:17-20.
