That's the same problem I have, only I can't seem to stop being distracted, it's like my mind won't let me NOT look at some shiny object that's thrown in my path. Plus I have no memory any more. I can start a verse but totally draw a blank before finishing it. These two difficulties I have are cognitive dysfunctions that keep me from giving out the gospel, so that's why I just use tracts. But if you will all pray for me, maybe God will heal me. I know He can. I've prayed for it before, but it hasn't been answered yet. It could be God has a different path for me. But I would still like those prayers, because I really want to be able to give out the gospel.

I completely agree that we look to Jesus' example and follow it, and that the good news cannot be void of the knowledge of sin. After all, when we say Jesus saved us, saved us from what? SIN. However, the rich young ruler is not the only way that Jesus operated. There's also the woman at the well, the woman caught in adultry, the man in the tree (Zacchaeus), etc... Jesus delt with people the way they needed. We too must be led by the Holy Spirit if we are to deal with people the way they need also. Rules and programs, systems, and methods are easy because it "can be" a substitute for our relationship with God. I don't need to be led by the Holy Spirit if I've already decided what I'm going to say. It's hard to say God what do you want me to do (and say) this time, and every time after that. Just something that was brought to my attention, something I seen in myself and putting out there for all others to be aware of.

Ray comfort I have a question for you: 1st John tells us to examine ourselves to see if we are truly saved. If one is elect, they can have confidence in their salvation by reading first John. If someone is elect but not yet a believer, they can read first John and find out they are not yet saved. But here is the question: can anyone know for certain that they are not elect? Election in Scripture does NOT refer to salvation but to individual gifts and purposes. Calvinism is evil. Only Calvin and his followers believe in "election" regarding salvation. Don't follow Calvin. Follow Christ. Everyone has a CHOICE whether to follow him and put their trust in him or not. Sure, God regenerates through the Holy Spirit (John 3) but he will never override a person's WILL. "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of *them that diligently seek him* (Hebrews 11:6) "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye WERE NOT WILLING! (that’s our nature without God) Since we sin, we deserve a punishment and that punishment is death. However, Jesus saved us from that penalty. Jesus died a very bad death for you. He was nailed to a cross. Jesus took our punishment even though He didn’t have to. He never sinned. (He didn’t deserve death) God (YAHWEH) wants your heart because He loves you. Jesus was the perfect Lamb to sacrifice because He had no blemish. In other words, Jesus never sinned but He died for our sins. He paid the fines for our sins. That’s so crazy because we sin so much in our daily lives! He saved us from sin! He rose from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit! Jesus was sent by God because He’s God’s own son! He was filled with the Precious Holy Spirit (God’s Spirit) so He had the power over sin! We can receive the Holy Spirit if we do these things: 1. Admit we are a sinner and repent from your sins (turn away from sin) 2. Believe that Jesus is God and He died for you and rose for you 3. Confess that Jesus is Lord. I love you, please take this into action. God loves you, Jesus loves you and the Holy Spirit loves you! You were in Their mind before creation. If you do these things you can have eternal life with God in Heaven! Look at creation, you can tell that there is a creator, the proof: creation. In the same way you know that there was a painter because you can see the painting. God is real and He’s coming to judge the world. @@bigfootnmore6619 We that are The Children of God are to Preach to all. But most leave out The most Important part. They will feel The Voice of The LORD Tugging on their Heart . They tell them to say this Prayer and you will be Saved. That's why most people in Churches Today are More Lost than The loss and Believe they are Saved But will only Hear, Depart from me You Workers of Iniquity. Everytime a person refuses, rejects, does Not listen or just walks away, their Heart becomes Harder and Harder to The point they can Not Hear HIS Voice.

@@LBWWhi-lc4px well, if you haven't noticed a pattern to the way he does this then watch him more. There is a reason for it. I've been leading people to Christ for about 30 years now. At one point in the mid 90s I made an 8 foot cross of 4x4 posts, put a wheel on the bottom and walked the streets of Minneapolis Minnesota. Even after all of that experience, I still recognize that Ray has a better system than myself. And I admire his persistence and patience.

Sin is the "transgression of the Law (1 John 3:4)" and JESUS said "not a jot or a tittle from the Law (Mat 5:18)" will change...You quote all commandments except the fourth "keep the Sabbath"... as a former Jew you should know JESUS is the Lord of Sabbath...He never changed the seventh day to the first SUNday, the Catholic Mark of Authority, because of the SUN worship (mark of the beast)...This is so clear in the Bible! Where is your parachute if you keep breaking this commandment and teaching others to do the same?

Read mark 10:19-21...did Jesus mention the Sabbath? Is God to be worshipped only on one day. Did He not create all 7 days. The Sabbath has everything to do with work not worship. It was to benefit us for rest instead of doing customary work. It is not the mark of the beast. The mark of the beast is worshipping a man and an image, not a day
