This kangaroo was found in its dead mums pouch on the side of the road about two years ago. We took it into our home and from almost being dead, it became strong and over the years has become a part of the family. He is free to run away if he wants, but im sure he feels the same connection to us as we do to him, and thats what keeps him around

It's not that he doesn't care because he's smaller, kangaroos get tired too, and they know when you sit down and stop you're just catching your breath. he and his brothers would have done the same hundreds of times between play fights. You can tell he's playing, because when he puts his weight onto his tail he *could* kick really high and hard, but he's hardly lifting his feet. As others have said, this is actually pretty awesome.

fun fact when kangaroos feel threathened and water is arround they try to lead the attacker into the water where they will drown them by pressing their head under water. works quite well since kangaroos are quite tall because they stand upright. doesnt work so well on humans though.

Really depends on the roo species. If this was a red kangaroo or an Eastern grey, it would be far more risky for a human. This looks like a Western grey, which is smaller than the either of the two species mentioned above. Not killing material.

Byron Henry just to point out this Roo is a young adult just out of the juvenile joey stage, yet this roo will still take a punch to the head easily, especially with those gloves on, and if this was a serious fight the roo would not be holding back either, it has claws on its hands it will use to rake at your face and gouge your eyes, it's arms aren't the main weapon anyway, they aren't designed to stop powerful blows, merely deflect scratching slapping movements. It's the legs that are the business. Sharp claws like a raptor plus massive muscular force, the results are either gutted entrails steaming on the floor or cracked ribs and internal bleeding, think you could block it? Well then it's violently fractured bones in your arms then for sure. Don't underestimate Roos
