Thank you! I could not believe that I was not able to open these at first with just some muscle. Even after all of the treatments, I had to use all of my strength with the crowbar to get the blades to break apart. Once they broke, a little oil was all it took! Thanks for visiting the channel and for the nice comment. 🍻

I love your channel. And I have watched every furniture restoration and metal restoration channels there are. I love that you are so good at problem solving on a budget, like making your own blast furnace. I love that you aren't making anything to sell, just because it's fun for you (and me to watch) like a croquet set. I love that you live where there's a train in your backyard and a church with bells and cicadas chirping at night. You're real. And I love that you made your own rust solution that works better than any product on the market. And you can do everything without fancy tools! Blacksmithing, welding, woodworking, and rescuing stray dogs. If you're wondering why you don't have more subscribers, I wonder if it's because women like furniture restoration and men like metal/tool restoration - your focus audience is not as focused as it should be to get the numbers? But I like seeing you do both, so what do I know? Well, back to binging all 57 of your videos.

Thank you for the very thoughtful message. It makes me happy to know that you enjoy so many facets of the channel. I agree with you about the audience demographics and I've leaned towards furniture for the most part in the last year or so. I've got a ton of projects in the queue and although most of them are furniture, I'll sneak in the occasional woodworking tool refurbishment! I am glad that you enjoy both types of projects. You are correct, the taste of men and women are different according to my YT analytics. Thank you for the support and I'll see you in the next one!! Hopefully soon... 🌻

All that hard work to take it apart and all you needed was a little penetrating oil. :) So was that being determined or being stubborn? ;) Seriously though, very nicely done!!!
@Restorology
@Restorology 2 жыл бұрын
I like to think it is a healthy balance of determination and stubbornness with a touch of insanity. I guess I will lead with the penetrating oil next time. I knew there had to be a reason everyone on KZbin sprays a bucketful on their rusty parts. Thanks for the feedback! 🍻

Desculpe... Boa sorte ! P.S. Espero que a tradução do google seja correta...
@Restorology
@Restorology 2 жыл бұрын
Vou lembrar disso no próximo! Peço desculpas se minha tradução não estiver correta. Obrigado novamente e abração! 🍻

I cant help but I hate it when someone uses filler, I would much rather see some dents, gives it character.
@Restorology
@Restorology 2 жыл бұрын
I get that. I debated whether or not to use it. If you go back and watch my other projects, I usually do not, but I was curious on this one to see how well it can create a smooth surface for painting. I am prepping to restore an old car and filler will be absolutely necessary but I don't have much experience with it. Thanks for the input, I appreciate it! 🍻
