This is why they often don't have cameras. Even a decent bar is going to have a chance at criminals threatening it to not have cameras weather for trafficking or "Protection".

Show me a Saturday night and I’ll show you 1/10 people who would do this 1/5 who facilitate 19/20 who just don’t care to help a stranger who’s clearly lost it. I(many) know bars plural where organized SA happens and the PD do nothing. Sometimes community protected if there’s hateism Those cases are rarer but a countable amount is too many.

@denisekoltys3019 I worked on 6th street all through the 90s and 2000s and it was never like this. I would walk from downtown across Town Lake at 4am to go home and never had any problems. This all started around 2010 and it's only gotten worse. This is what you get from decades of democrat policies. That's why Austin has turned into San Francisco, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Chicago or pick any other democrat controlled city they all look the same for the same reasons.

@@franko8572 It happens all the time. How could you not know this….it’s called sex trafficking. Bartenders paid thousands of dollars to spike drinks of some of the most attractive men and women for the purpose of exploitation. You go into a bar, they drug you, as you’re fading, someone comes to your rescue and offers to help you walk out which of course you trust them because you’re in a state of desperation. The next thing you know, you basically fall asleep and you wake up chained to a bed with multiple people waiting in line to have sex with you!! Now do you understand!

@M.K.386
@M.K.386 3 ай бұрын
@@banzairunner7860 it's a long story. It happened twice. The first time I knew I was trying something different but I had no idea it was a liquid. I remember walking in and I remember walking out. What happened in between and how long I was there, I have no idea. I never remembered any of it until it happened a second time 10 or so years ago. I had a party at my house, a lot of people were here. This guy I knew wanted to know if I wanted to do a shot of vodka and I said sure yeah he said he would go get it and be right back. I didn't think anything of it but I do remember he wasn't gone that long. I went to do a shot because that's what I did. I really wasn't a drinker and he told me just to take a sip which I thought was odd but I didn't question it. When I woke up the next morning I remembered him telling me he was leaving and he was crouching by my bed and it was all dark but I almost thought it was a dream. A couple years after that I was looking through an old flip phone that I had and I saw a picture that I took and it was me sitting on the bed, this guy next to me and somebody else at the end of the bed. It was of my legs, my feet, his legs, his feet, he had his underwear on. I was taking a picture of the person at the end of the bed who had their clothes on. I have no idea why I would have taken that picture because I don't like to take pictures. I was looking through social media one day and I came across a video of me, a tame sex video and I couldn't figure out where it was taken from or when it was. The only time I could think of was when I was 18 or 19 and I went into that house. So the second time it happened triggered the memory of the first time. If it wouldn't have happened a second time I don't think I ever would have remember the first time. I asked the guy the first time it happened if I could get some of that because I thought it was really good and I liked it and he told me it was discontinued. The internet quit selling it, they banned it. This guy was buying it by the case. His dad was a cop. It was GHB. Gamma hydroxybutyric. I think that's how you spell it. I've done Rohypnol too. I used to have problems going to sleep. I would take one of these pills and a bomb could go off and I would not have heard it. We called them roofies. There's dangerous shit out there. Into the wrong hands could be detrimental and fatal.

That doesn’t help if the one drink you have is spiked. Men don’t look out for men because they don’t expect drinks to be spiked. It’s under reported. Men’s drinks are spiked so they can be robbed or SAd. Or couple’s drinks are spiked to make it easy to take the woman out of bar. Or beat the man up bc of a beef. Or bc they think it’s funny. It happens at bars. At parties. When someone you invite to your home for drinks. Men rarely talk about it to each other.

Something similar happened to a guy I know in Louisiana years ago. He was out with a bunch of people for a birthday party, and they had a large table. It wasn't a night club. It was a restaurant/bar...kinda like Chili's. They hadn't even been there that long. He'd only drunk 2 beers and they ended up having to carry him out of there. He couldn't even walk. They think that he drank a beer meant for one of the women at the table, because there were a lot of them, but who knows. My friend was pretty shaken up afterward describing how he'd never felt like that and how he couldn't walk or help himself. The beers served were all on tap.

Everyone needs to be aware that spiking drinks is our reality. It doesn’t matter if you are a Nan, or a woman.

Same thing happened to me about 20yrs ago while bar hopping on 6th street. Luckily my brother was with me and drove me home. I think it could have been a bartender, because i had my drink with me. 6th street has a lot of shady characters, just saying.

Thank goodness this man is ok , Too many creepers at bars , now days you even have to watch the person that is making your drink , and never leave a drink on a table and come back to it later . I hope they catch the Devil or Devils that did this to this man !!!!

Women frequently get roofied this doesn’t make the news until it’s a man? I’ve been roofied three times and two of them were by bartenders. I’m 100% positive. Instead of helping me they threatened to call the cops on me unless I left. luckily I had a friend there to help get me to family back home. And when I asked to see camera footage they threatened me even more. I got home safely all 3 times. I called for help of someone trusted or called a Lyft immediately sensing something was not right. Which I was highly untie with because when I drink alone I always stick to a drink top shelf liquor I got used to gauging my limit with. And always said no to shots. I never mixed liquors or bought cheap drinks unless I was with someone I trusted to help me. I have talked with women who have also been roofied, and they were not as lucky they were never quite sure what fully happened to them.

I bet the cops didn’t go looking for those women. They usually get a free pass to abuse and hurt men but if the sexes were reversed, they’d have every detective scouring the area to find the perpetrators
