Just because he has a key to that apartment doesn't mean he belongs there, he waited until she opened the door to come in because he didn't have a fob because he's not a Tennant in that building. She was 100% right because it's up to the residents to make sure the doors are closed and if he truly belonged he should have been able to open the door himself. Either way the resident of that apartment being him or the person he's staying with illegally violated their lease and can be kicked out and he can be arrested for assult because she doesn't have to open the door for him in fact he must wait outside and open the door himself for her safety. I bet dude got kicked out or even locked up. She could have pepper sprayed him out of the building because he forced her fiscally.

He didn't have a fob or he would have been able to say ok close the door and I will open it myself but he couldn't do that because he didn't have a fob because he's not on the lease of that complex.
