Jesus Christ, when asked about marriage, went back to quote Genesis. In the beginning God created marriage to be ONLY between 1 man and 1 woman. Aww man 😂. Ok.... Why on earth is he making the argument that you can only have the type of community he is speaking of in a polygamist relationship. Everything this guy is talking about is done with different close families coming together to either buy land to share like a commune. My two other best Christian girlfriends, we are all happily married, one of them has 7 children, we are all stay at home mothers (I also run our homestead and am homeschooling my children) we always talk about getting a big plot of land together so all our families can have a small community (plus if our own children want to marry each other it isn't incest) I couldn't imagine a harder way to have the kind of community this guy is talking about then trying to make it with one husband and six wives.... Bro, you should of just made friends with like-minded families and y'all going into buying land together, or a big house. Hippies have been doing the commune thing for ever.

Hey Rob, first of all, I'd like to say that it's great that you're asking questions about what Biblical marriage and family structure looks like so that everyone can take a deeper look for themselves regardless of what conclusions they arrive to. However, I think you've interviewed one woman on this subject (and she is in a monogamous marriage), and the rest are men who are in the 'first generation' of polygynous family structures, meaning that they all grew up in a monogamous-parent family structure themselves (to my knowledge). And within the demographics of your list of interviewees, you've interviewed both Christian and non-Christian alike on this subject. Respectfully, wouldn't interviewing the wives of polygynous family structures, and perhaps more importantly, wouldn't interviewing children who grew up in polygynous family structures help better inform you and the audience on the subject? Such families may not all subscribe to the Christian faith necessarily, but I think it would still be worth letting the people who grew up in a polygynous family structure speak for themselves. Just like the Christian stance on @b0rtion is to allow the unborn child to have a voice, it would then make sense to hear out the other sides of the family structure as well: the children, the wives. Just a quick search brought up a YT channel called "Growing up in Polygamy". That may be a good start.

@helixmoore7636Ай бұрын
I'm guessing if the concept is brought up during their 1st meeting and she agrees to it and he marries 3 at once then it's possible the women are fine with it. This means each wife has her own home, etc, and the husband pays for everything. I mean everything, and it has to be equal. He cannot hurt or embarrass any of his wives by showing favoritism. He has to pay and provide for all of his children wo any gov aid or help from the wives. He is to provide everything. Polygamy today is solely about getting off aka getting to ejaculate in other women because the dude wants younger and younger women even underage women.

At 12:01 he said he pushes against the man being the sole provider. My wife tells me she desires to be a proverbs 31 woman. Proverbs 31:16 says good wife contributes. This guy may not be a Christian but he sure does a Christian life better than I can in this area at least. Eight years ago I started to study out this subject. I understand study. I am a mechanical engineer by trade but I have a PhD in Christian philosophy and apologetics. I’ll be 51 soon. It became very obvious this was a Roman influence on Judaism and Christianity. it’s understandable considering role role played and still does. I have made a decision to allow the Lord to work on my wife. I challenged her years ago. We studied out. She agrees that it” may be” biblical but the damage it would do to our lives is monumental. She’s correct but I am willing is that OK for me to forcefully destroy her life too without her buying? She is a teacher. She did not go to college until my children were almost in high school. They started pushing away like children do. She had a lot of extra free time and I make enough money that I was able to just tell her to pursue her dreams. And she is a phenomenal teacher who teaches and shows Christ as much as possible in a public setting. Anyway, she said if God brings the right person. I live in the United States so finding the right person is a difficult task. There is a website that I saw years ago. It may not even be around anymore. It spoke of love not force. I decided to go this route. I tried to force it at first. That was not fair to my wife. She grew up in a culture where it’s not right, she married me with the idea of monogamy, so the devil has done a great job creating a system that is self policing to keep the family weak. There’s not a day that goes by that I do not feel pain as if I have lost a wife. I am thankful that I have a good woman. I am thankful that she is as open-minded as she is but also practical. Pray for me and my wife. Pray that we find that right person in an impossible situation it seems. Sir you get to start your relationship off with a woman who understands and agrees with this lifestyle. It’s going to be difficult to find but at least you’re not changing the rules mid play like I am. That is more difficult.
