There is a height UPPER LIMIT for drones less than 249g . 400ft 120 M and a speed limit of 42.5 mph , never been caught breaking the speed limit yet😂

The Air Navigation Order 2016 section is in reference to aircraft that persons fly in but not drones. Polices officerthat quote laws that are not relvent or true and serve as detriment to others should be fined monies removed from their pension pot if proven that they have lied. There are no regulations on wind speeds for drones however, there is a general rule of thumb when flying drones in the wind. That rule states that the wind should be no more than two-thirds of the maximum speed of the drone. So, if you have a drone that tops out at 18 mph, you wouldn't want to fly in winds of more than 12 mph. Note: rule of thumb not law.

There isn't any laws regarding windspeed as it would be impossible to measure the speed at the exact time your drone is flying, also wind speed changes every few seconds, copper think's he an expert but made this one up .

I unfortunately can confirm that while these devices are incredible technologically advanced, they absolutely are vulnerable to user error and weather/interference and user error doesn't mean just poorly handled, but also not understanding the instrument levels. We've had quite a few mishaps even with the most recently released models of the time. I actually get scared to fly my more expensive Mavic models because of this and the minis are easily bullied by sudden and constant wind changes. My friend had a problem with Florida heat and humidity. I forget what he said happened but just being outside in humid but clear and sunny day for a short amount of time, he had some sort of problem but of course that is a more intense climate. He also had a crane try to attack it while getting alligator footage, and if he was lower both the crane and the 2 large gators could have reached it because it was agitating or tempting them all and he learned not to get that close to wildlife lol.

When you first started talking with the second one who, fair play to him, was open to learn more about drones. That flag behind him was fluttering about like crazy one minute, calm the next. The wind wasn't going at a constant 23 mph, it's 0 up to 23 mph.

Fredom of information show that 66 drones have been damaged or lost by British police authorities in the past year and I wouldn't mind betting it's because cops who fly them don"t have the correct knowledge and or brain power to handle them correctly. A schoolmate of mine cousin shot one down whilst clay pigeon shooting on the families farm, recovered it and now it sits in pride and placed in his local rugby clubs trophy cabinet 😅 😂
