Barcelona have sacked manager Xavi with former Bayern Munich boss Hansi Flick set to replace him.
Xavi will take charge of Barcelona for the final time on Sunday, when they host Sevilla in their last La Liga match of the season.
The 44-year-old, who had been contracted until 2025, was informed of the club's decision during a meeting with club president Joan Laporta and sporting director Deco on Friday - exactly one month since it was announced that he would remain at the club.
Manchester United have decided to sack Erik ten Hag after the FA Cup final against Manchester City.
In an echo of United parting company with Louis van Gaal despite winning the FA Cup in 2016, it is understood that even beating City at Wembley on Saturday will not save Ten Hag.
The ruthless decision to change manager will be the most significant move made by Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his allies since Ineos agreed to take a minority stake in the club last December and assumed control of football operations. United, who appointed Ten Hag two years ago, have felt compelled to act after ending a fraught campaign eighth in the Premier League, their lowest finish since 1990.

I don't blame just owners for brutally firing managers these days, I blame impatient club fans as well. Fans are extremely impatient these days. Even one bad match fans will lynch players, managers. I think gone are the days when managers used to get 3 4 years to build the teams. Now, they have to deliver the results irrespective of how players/management support managers. Kudos to clubs like Liverpool/Arsenal for staying patient with managers. I think none of the fired managers deserved to be fired. Poch did well at the end of the season, ten hag had injury issues, Xavi did well as well.

Xavi never agreed for Roque, it was all impatient Deco. Yes, Roque is great talent but Barca already had 2 players in that position, Lewa & Guiu plus Torres can also play in that position. So, signing him wasn't good decision and that too in January when he was going to come in June. If Deco & Xavi would have work together properly I'm sure we would have make some good decisions off the ground.
