This is a recording of a webinar that took place on 5th July 2021.
It features Prof. John-Paul Taylor from Newcastle University and Rachel Thompson, Consultant Admiral Nurse at the Lewy Body Society. They discuss what causes hallucinations and changes to visual perception, and how to manage them with tips for people living with LBD and family members/carers.

My sister had Lewy Body Dementia. She had hallucinations, the first year, and saw little green furry creatures. She suffered with it for 7 years. She couldn't walk or talk, at the end.

My father suffers from hallucinations CONSTANTLY!!! he screams and tells and fights with these people he sees for HOURS! It is terrible. He is yelling at them right now. Then he yells at me and tells me I am "God damn stupid" because I let these people in all the time. He is yelling at them right now saying get the hell out of her you dirty bastards.

Yup my loved one is doing similar eg "get these people out of here" and lots more. Best wishes

I always believe them and ask questions as to how if affected them. I found my aunt wanted to know why that lady was in the corner. I said well lets go outside and she can come, so we went to the corner. We wanted to fo to a cafe and my aunt said the lady left. I told my aunt she might saw wheresee

My husband see lights landing on our yard at night and he thinks about sex all the time , even just watching a simple TV program. Is this normal ?
