How to handle your emotions correctly: 1. Seek God's will above yours. 2. Pray about everything 3. Delay action until emotions give way to reason. Proverbs 29:11 4. Use the Sword of the Spirit in the battlefield of your mind Judge every thought and emotions with the Word of God, and align them with the Word. "My body is the temple of the Lord Jesus Christ where the Holy Spirit dwells" "Bless the Lord, oh my soul. And all that is within me, bless His holy Name." Combat/Arrest bad thoughts with words. Deal with them in the mind first. Arrest wrong emotions as thoughts before they come out and express themselves. 5. Be very intentional about your thoughts - the things you let into your mind You determine what grows You determine what dies. Phillipians 4:8 Our thoughts are dependent on our decisions 6. Have a plan for controlling your thoughts What does the Word of God say about these issues? Fast from things that feed your thoughts/emotions negatively. God bless you abundantly, PL

I loved this video🥹. It helped me discover important information on emotion that I didn't think about before. But I have this pressing question. In one of the practical steps to take, you mentioned that it is best to delay action till emotions give way to reason, but how can we differentiate our emotions or feelings from the inward nudging of the spirit? I have often heard it is best to act immediately when God instructs you to prevent thoughts of doubt from clouding your judgment. These two options of waiting to give way for reasoning or acting immediately to avoid doubt clash sometimes and make it difficult to make a decision that would please God. Please could you help me to clear the confusion❤
