Carrying the torch here on this channel! When we think of hard rock riff curators, many out there seem to avoid alt hard rock like it’s not just as informed and relevant. Seeing you fucking nail Hum and lay down a cornucopia of underrepresented riffs on your other videos is what demonstrates that someone has really put time in to listening and loving music. It’s one thing to play a riff and it’s another completely to have it sing in your hands. Those time adjustments in approach are what make these things so musical and you nail the nuance. And the production is so clean here! This album isn’t easy to nail. That kind of deftones/hum crushing wall of guitars and synth is not easy to do just right. It’s like you have to bake those sounds together into a musical casserole to get it to sit together all fat and monstrous like those tunes do.

The opening outdoor shot of the river dam looks like it is in a certain city in VA, more specifically, the James River in RIC VA. If it is and you are in VA, greetings from a fellow and local Hum fan since '95. Inlet is such a complete work, a masterpiece. Your cover is incredibly done, the sound is so thick and the leads just soar. RIP Bryan SP, he is missed and was a HUGE influence on my playing over the years.

Amazing cover, brother. The most impressive detail is the absolutely mountainous/cavernous guitar tone. I always thought of using a pedal called "Cathedral" for this song. It's so deep and yet brilliant, like a crystalline ocean you can walk upon and see the life underneath you. Best song on the album, too. Many blessings, brother!!!
