Manatees are so special. How horribly sad that they will eventually be put on the endangered list. They are so beautiful.I love them❤️.There has to be better watercraft laws, they should not be getting hit.We all have to bring our voices to this.Thank you for this beautiful video. So stunning and wonderful. Big hugs to the puppies.❤️❤️🇨🇦

So cool to see the manatees! We got to see some from a land perch a few weeks ago, but to be in the water with them! Wow!

I absolutely LOVED this episode! What I wouldn’t give to have been with you two and those beautiful Manatees…so majestic and gentle. I am sorry, but have got to catch-up with you as we’ve been consumed with our daughter’s very near death. Horrible blood clots in her lungs, and the doctor’s couldn’t believe she survived. Anyway, hopefully, she’s healing, and mom and dad can relax a little bit! I’ve missed your wonderful escapades on video! This one, as all do, really has cheered me up. Many, many thanks, Love Ya, Virginia

We swam with them in crystal river. It was awesome. Just float and they will come right up to you. We saw a calf too. What a great day 👍🏼

I'm a manatee in human form too. That laundry room was amazing, the restaurant is amazing, the ice cream & donut place (we ate a Duck Donut last year - YUM) is amazing, the floating with the manatees - WOW - this area looks fabulous - enjoyed this so much!

Oh my stars!!! Manatees (who are the original chubby mermaids lol), fresh off the boat seafood, and house-made ice cream and donuts - what more could a FL-deprived woman ask for? I saw so many Manatees up close when I lived in FL, but never had the opportunity to be in the water with them, so I know where I'm going to knock that one off my bucket list for sure. If you get a chance, be sure to try a fried Soft-Shell Crab sandwich. It's so darn good! Enjoy and safe travels!

Thanks, Lis, and appreciate the recommendation on soft shell crab sandwich! Also glad you know the origin of the "chubby mermaid" name. Thanks as always for watching and we're glad you're along for the journey! 😎 - Howard

The swimming with manatees experience: That is getting up early (in my world) but could see it was worth it! Love that your zipper pull was used as dental floss 🦷 The chubby mermaid looks very yummy. Thanks for taking us along on your Florida adventures - it snowed here in Michigan last night after being very mild and lovely last week.🌷

You have to watch your intro. Howard is looking at the Manatees and he then says I have never seen so many. The next shot is some food getting dumped out of a basket and Katelyn says they are so delicious. So first Howard talks about how many there are and the next shot Katelyn is eating and saying how delicious they are. Huh? What? Eating Manatee? Okay I know you weren't but it just struck me funny. Maybe it is because in the late eighties five families towed our boats down to the Keys. We ate at a restaurant in Key West and they had Dolphin on the menu. Use rubes from MN thought they were serving Flipper. For all you youngins way back in the day there was a TV with a dolphin called Flipper. Been waiting anxiously for this video and so glad you got the experience. When I did my dives there we were told that Manatees are really horny suckers and they have kind of pinned lady snorkelers momentarily to the bottom and um "tried giving them a hug". Thanks for the video it sure brings back memories. You guys rock.
