Manavyala in our Mind, one of our early Carnatic adaptations, became synonymous with our sonic character and theme. Our live version on KZbin that we had played three years ago at my sister's wedding was the first time we had ever performed it. While recording our album IndoSoul we decided to make a studio version of this song as well. There's something about this Thyagaraja krithi in raga Nalinakanthi that continues to fascinate through decades and centuries. Vibrant and positive it can never grow old! Here's our humble tribute to the great composer.

I recently ( a month ago) have known about your music and team, since then not even a day has passed without listening to your music. I am in my office for 8 hours and I listen to your music the whole day, specially raghuvamsha sudhambudhi chandra sri, saranga and manavyala....your music in my heart rings for more than 8 hours frankly, it's closer to my heart, it's closer to everyone's heart.. I listen to it when im happy, when im sad, and yes ur music does make tears flow out..TEARS of JOY!!!! By the by I need to tell you how I came to watch your rendering having said that I am not interested in fusion. This krithi is my favourite one and Nalinakanthi is a mesmerizing raaga. I stumbled upon your video. Found out that this is kind of fusion and not traditional rendering. Thought of moving out but still gave it a try for first 2 minutes and then I never got out because of the way you rendered this krithi
