Curry mile died a long long time ago. Years ago. There is literally about 5 or 6 curry houses left if that. As you can see on this video lol. The rest are non curry and way too many Shisah places. Once the curry mile with lots of restaurants but with better chefs hygiene and location they mostly left the area and went in to city centre and got with the times. This rat infested dump is best avoided. Don’t go if you want curry. So many better places in the city centre

Genuine, honest question, why are there so many Indian/Pakistani people in Britain when they are half a world away?

India and Pakistan were part of the British empire. In the 1950s Britain told them to come and live here and do the jobs that british people dont want to do. They came over in their thousands did those jobs, opened businesses and brought their food style with them. And Britain is richer for it.
