Fact..gone are the days we get rolled over by ANY teams..for the first time in years, apart from last season..i am in no way apprehensive going to ANY teams ground or who we play..we are at at..I believe we will do munich..I'm not scared of city, or madrid, or anyone left in the competition...if rather play madrid than city ...either way if we push past munich other teams will take note..COYG❤

Tomi coming on for Kiwior was a direct response to Doku coming on. Arteta did the exact same thing in the home game. As soon as Doku came on, Tomi was brought on for Zinny to deal with Doku.

Party looked really composed when he came on. Helped create our best chance and was al least as good with the ball as Jorgi was. He's not the same player we signed physically which is understandable giving the injuries he's had but Jorgi was never that player and we've became comfortable with that small flaw in his game. Partey will be an important player in what's left of the season.

But you never ever see anyone run passed him like KD did with Partey. Jorginho has always been slow, so his reading of the game is out of this world. Partey is used to making up for his errors with his speed.

@@sandboxplayerz667 You do see it, it happened in the Porto game at least once. He's great at reading the game but his physicality is exposed on occasion too.

This performance, compared to that of last season, was night vs day. I loved Raya's time wasting and our cynical fouls... its absolutely what you have to do. We've grown up and are no longer naive and its great to see. As for the neutrals complaining it was turgid, boring stuff.. sorry, not sorry.

the most interesting thing about the match was that both Halaand and KDB were no where in the match. Arteta's Army has truly evolved

Mikel Arteta has made us better every year, assuming we end the season with 88-90 pts next year is probably a roughly 95 pt season, that is INSANE given that we were coming 8th 3 seasons ago.

I for one am a little disappointed with the result (at the same time, happy we didn't concede). I really believed we'd have to win all our matches to win the league, and we didn't. Its hard to see where we can pick up a +3pts on Liverpool in the fixtures remaining.

Tbh we were never winning all our remaining matches anyways. Our run is wayyyy harder than liverpools and even Citys. We needed to come into the final 12 games with like a 6 point cushion to win the league. Title was lost vs West Ham and Fullham

@@adventurerwannabe I keep hearing persons saying that. But we should see that it's against the bigger side, we are getting most of our points. But we will see. Maybe both City and Liverpool drop points at a place we don't think they would.

I know we lose Elneny and Jorginho and likely cut our losses with Partey come summer. But after City game and the glaring lack of pace to stretch a defense when Martinelli doesn't play, it is just as pivotal to sign an attacker with that pace who can preferably play either wing

All in the long term plan for Arteta who will most likely say we are ahead of schedule, he knows what he needs in the summer, progression will happen again next year like last year, arteta wants to dominate every game and he won't be satisfied until we can do that to any team in the world

What another brilliant show I loved that we got a point at the City we have improved so much over the last couple of years and the quality of the defence is brilliant this game I feel will not decide the title points will be lost amongst the top 3 iam sure ,we arme up for the fight now but iam a bit concerned with the fitness of Saka and Jesus I would love to hear how we should rotate this game also gave me encouragement for the Champions league because I used to think we were one dimensional but now iam impressed with Mikel as a tactician and adaptability.

My prediction before the game was that whoever won would narrowly win by 1-0, so a 0-0 wasn't actually that far off my initial expectations. I expected a "boring" game. I felt like Gabriel Jesus had a very poor attacking output. He did really well defensively, doubling up with Kiwior, but his finishing and decision making in the final third was poor. In terms of players who did well, I think Rice kept KDB very quiet so 10/10 for Rice. Also, massive props to Ben White for both his defensive and offensive game. He kept Phil Foden very quiet on our right and progressed the ball up the field more positively than anyone else in the team. Odegaard also had a blinder in terms of work rate, the geeza was at it for the full 90 minutes... Throwing in tackles, leading the press, making progressive actions, etc... another hard shift for him. Thankfully, on the positive side of the game... We were defensively solid and without any real service to Haaland we exposed him for the lack of all around game he actually has outside of finishing, strength and pace. Honestly, I never noticed before this season gow "green" on the ball Haaland looks. Our game plan really exposed it in this game.

considering how much white has had to play over the last 2-3 seasons due to tomi's fitness and cedric being cedric i'm happy he doesnt get called this (and im an england fan)
