An incident packed match , with both sides questioning refereeing decisions. I don't think City have clicked into gear yet, and we never seemed to overlap or create triangles on the wings against 10 men. Of more concern , no Rodri for some time, though there are conflicting reports on this, and an injured Kevin De Bruyne. The games are coming think and fast and we need everyone to step up to the plate.

Enjoyed your tour of the drinking dens of Ireland so ended up watching this. Great stuff. However must say that red card was absurd. For one thing the foul was Silva backing into Trossard, then falling theatrically to the floor. Then there's no time between the whistle and the kick. Looking forward to the return fixture. Well the refs have been told to clamp down hard on players kicking the ball away and delaying restarts so the ref had little choice . Whether it’s a good policy or being applied as rigorously as it might be is another matter . So glad you like the content

A fair assessment of the game PM, i thought Pep was far too cautious in the 2nd half and should've made those subs so much sooner than he did. He wouldn't have needed to take off any defenders either !! It was crying out for something different and we needed players on that can get between the lines.. Foden and Grealish track back as well so i just don't get it !?

Hopefully by then the EPL and the referees will have banned you from getting two of your players, who have no intention of playing the ball, blocking goalies at corners which is obstruction and a foul ffs

I'd say we've had a rivalry with Arsenal for the past two seasons, but the game on Sunday has certainly spiced things up a bit ..... the return at the Emirates probably won't be any different.

Good stuff Mutton. Action packed, We are looking solid and I think you.lot were taken back. I mean the comments from Silva afterwards, dear of dear, he was rattled. Never mind. A long season ahead. Great stuff as always mate, looking forward to more food blogs over the coming season, will be off to Spain for a couple of weeks, Málaga, which I don't tend to visit too often compared to other parts. @@johnnorbury5521 bus , are you referring to the Watford game tonight? Tunnel club is nice, I’ve only been in once myself. The bus is fastest if you want to be in the NQ as you have to queue for trams. Not totally confident the monk will be open that late tonight though maybe 1030 last orders

Congrats on the late goal mutton. Was buzzing myself, couldn't bare watch Arsenal win with a disgusting game plan that they had. Their plan (if it was) was to injure Rodri then they're disgusting and so is Arteta. Then they have the audacity to say they were robbed and blame Michael Oliver when he was the same ref who hardly booked Arsenal players for their disgusting moves towards players purposely. Especially Havertz for 1 on 1 clashing into Rodri's face. Raya was allowed to time waste for 45 seconds every time he had a goal kick, also disgraceful. Of course you can't take away how good defensively they were it seems to be the only thing Arteta got right since Saliba returned from loan. No Kevin really was a big miss in needing those through balls to break their defence down. I hope Rodri's injury isn't as bad, I hear it's a season ender so hopefully not for as long but I have trust in Kovacic and Gundogan)

Lol Dave mate I was pissing myself laughing after justice was served when Stonesey knocked that ball in the net. The ref had a shocker and the referees have to do something about two Arsenal players, who have no intention of playing the ball, blocking goalies at corners - it is obstruction and a foul. We were all celebrating not a point or a draw but that shit show from Arsenal didn't pay off. We love a late goal us City fans. But be honest who would you rather watch - Liverpool, Chelsea, Brentford Forest, Newcastle and the like or that load of bollocks from the Gunners?
