While changing managers has helped Chelsea attain success over these past few years, I feel like failing to stick with a project/style has definitely hindered them from more silverware. I mean they had a genuine possibility to build a legacy but watching this video reminds me of the Conte days, and you realize it’s been 4 seasons since then. The good thing for fans is that the owners spend, but so many changes while in the same span of time Man City have sustained a personality under Pep, surely means they go in as underdogs here.
@wayneshaw12693 жыл бұрын
True, even though I am a Man City fan Chelsea should really stick To Tuchel so as to build a project not just outright sack him even if he didn't get any trophies
@miz51383 жыл бұрын
On paper TT and Conte’s setup might look familiar but they’re not. With Conte it was more like sit tight and be ready to pounce on every mistake the opposition makes. Since we had clinical finishers like Costa and Hazard back then we didn’t need many chances to score. With TT it’s different, we like to have possession of the ball and as soon as we loose it, the counter press comes into action to win back possession immediately.
@bmabs353 жыл бұрын
@@wayneshaw1269 Speaking as a Chelsea fan, it's not going to happen, whether Tuchel brings in silverware or not. @@bmabs35 True, Tuchel is just like Pep humble and a tactical genius
@joshbrown22173 жыл бұрын
This is true, plus the board are to blame for not getting in a manager who actually is suitable to settle down into a project for Chelsea. Conte was meant to be this person, but he wants too much and to control too much of the transfer decisions (this is most likely why he has also left Inter this season). Sarri was pushed out by the Chelsea fans and he also struggled to manage the media. The only one in recent history who we should have built a manager around was Ancelotti and we stupidly sacked him. Tuchel is arguably the manager in our most recent history for us to actually be able to build a project around with his credentials, style of play and charisma. (Before people start saying we should of with Lampard, I still think he showed a bit too much inexperience for us to build a project around, which was shown by the repeated changes in roles for the players and formations)

@@kennethcarvalho3684 I mean it's quite simple, Jorghino has played nearly every game he could of under Tuchel and is very important in this system as stated in the video. The idea of Kova coming in because he can turn mids to transition doesn't make sense as that's not the role that Jorge occupies, but instead Kante's role in this system. So if Kova was going to play instead of Jorge, he wouldn't really be turning mids. Plus people are acting like Jorge was terrible, when like the rest of the team he made about 2/3 mistakes that game and was taken off to make our attack more aggressive as Villa showed no sign of wanting to attack after scoring those two goals, to do the same against City would be suicide as we would then have very little control against a very good city midfield. TL;DR Jorge is very important to the system and it would no sense taking him out of the side and the only people that do think we should are people who have an irrational hatred against Sarri and blame Jorghino for him (for whatever reason) or for some reason still doesn't understand the role of someone playing as Regista and still think that Kante can play as a lone dm

1 problem: Jorginho seems to be allergic to passing the ball forward, so to suggest he's gonna hit the channels is absurd. Other than that, great video.

I think Havertz would start, because Werner, Mount and Pulisic can't do hold-up play like him

Tuchel also talked about having a height advantage in the final third so I'm sure Havertz will start...and he deserves to honeslty that Madrid performance 🔥

Why change what made the channel great. Bad drawings and a calming sound track. Put this stuff on the other site. Bring back the tifo we know and love. I remember it was called something else before tifo. Don’t remember what is was. But bring that back.

Without doubt Haverts and Kovacic will start and play. Pulisic has been flat and loses the ball too much in transition. He might be stubborn but he is no fool. Its a reason pulisic don't start as much games as he does. Havertz, mount and Werner is the key to Chelsea's success in this game. Chelsea will have to rely on Man City to make mistakes and counter accordingly. If City play high, it is a sure way to lose against Chelsea; especially, with Werner's frightening pace and Mounts ability to find, drop into and attack space. The real problem with Chelsea is their ability to put the ball into the net. People constantly make it seem as though Chelsea cannot beat City. This is a cup competition. It takes but one chance, one goal goal and one moment of magic to turn this tide. Chelsea more times than less show up at finals even if they lose. I've never seen them blown away at any final..... this is key to remember.

I'm calling it now. This final will be a repeat of the last time Guardiola faced Chelsea in the CL. City miss a penalty, Chelsea get a player sent off, so they park the bus. City dominate possession. A long ball to Werner, he rounds Ederson running out agressively to seal the win. Somewhere in Europe, Mourinho laughs and tries to claim credit, saying this is "football 'eritage".
