I told a united fan before giving Bruno fandandez the captain band was the greatest mistake. It's not that he isn't a good player. of course he's a quality player, but his game is like Chelsea former striker Degio Costa you can get the best out of them if you allow them to play how they want. We do complain on their attitude problems, but I believe they played well when they play with that attitude. It's not something that many people want to see though, but that's their game and that's how you get the best out of them. Bruno is a player that like to intimidate opponents on the pitch and as well complaining, harassing the referees and that's when you see him doing incredible things. Since he got that captain band, he's trying to stay discipline and that's affecting his game. He dropped totally since he got that responsibility. He's still better for Portugal cuz he's doing what he wants there.

It's about consistency from the players and the manager. That draw wasn't on the coach, you cannot play as well as you did against Crystal Palace and be as apathetic against Twente. I have seen these inconsistencies affect us time and time again, and as a reactionary fan base we're one loss or even a draw away from a collapse and asking for the manager's head. It's simple, Erik is on his third season... People forget his first was pretty decent, his second was the issue (salvaged with a trophy), his third is ongoing 7 games in (only outplayed by Liverpool) however the one glaring fault in this team asides goals is the lack of consistency from these players, play well one match and down the next game. You never know what to expect, if Eriksen didn't make that mistake we probably win 1-0, Twente did nothing of note all game. The expectations at this club is high and we cannot continue to be reactionary after these outcomes because that's the state of the club at the moment, it was Casemiro against Liverpool, Rashford before his 3 goals, Bruno the last two games, do we blame Eriksen now? You need a level of accountability for the badge you wear, players who know they must earn the right to every victory and not some half hearted performance. The result yesterday was too familiar, Copenhagen, Istanbul BB, Galatasaray, Rb Leipzig, Villareal, our many previous failings in Europe... Erik has to learn, I have been impressed with the approach this season and while I believe results will come, a consistent approach has to be maintained to a required level, 50% in games is not acceptable. Rinse and Repeat, you go out thr way you came in, and yesterday the game state was poor poor in their approach.
