I was at this game. Unfortunately an old guy sat a few rows behind me had a heart attack after we went 1-0 up. I always thought what a way to go, being 1-0 up against Man Utd during this era.

A fan had an heart attack in the seat right in front of me in the Riverside in the 90’s, think it was the promotion season. He never came back the rest of the season, and I think the guy sat next to him was his brother and we overheard him say he’d passed away. I was young, just in my teens, I think, so details are a bit sketchy.
