Arteta won a domestic cup with a worse team had to deal with Xhaka while also dealing with the Ozil situation and had to deal with Aubameyang not long after, and had to manage with a number of loans and short term deals just to get anywhere because Arsenal didn't have the luxury of being able to spend the way United did until just recently. You guys are joint top spenders alongside Chelsea from 2018 onwards. And let's not pretend Arsenal haven't had their own injury crises to deal with in the past. ETH's facing the sack because the clubs higher ups and fans aren't happy with his direction. In the grand scheme the domestic cups don't mean all that much unless you're one of the smaller sides otherwise they're just nice to-haves. Your teams still in bad health despite the win. A manager that's 'well clear' of another doesn't finish 29 points behind the other with a head-to-head record of 0-2.
