David Silva was a CITY legend along with many others like kompany summerbee Brooks trautmann and loads more. All of the great memories he had will stay in my heart forever as I'm sure it will with many others. Shame he didn't win the champions league as that was what he missed being at city. Hope he has a great future with real sociedad and they will now be my Europa league team for this year and hope they win as that will be great for him as he would win a European trophy which he didn't do.at city. I think city should retire.his shirt number of 21 which we all knew. It's nice to see his past teammates wishing him luck and thanking him as Well which I think is nice. Hopefully he can come back to the etihad for a testimonial when the fans are allowed back into grounds which is hopefully soon. Los sigo desde la primera vez que lo vi jugando por España en la Eurocopa 2008. Después salió campeón del mundo en 2010 y el City se lo llevó ese mismo año. Gracias a él me volví fan del Manchester City. Se puede decir que David Silva fue una de las primeras grandes compras que hizo el City cuando este volvió a convertirse en un grande de Europa, al año siguiente en 2011 llegó Agüero y lo demás es Historia. Ahora que Silva se va del equipo, seguiré siendo hincha del Manchester City, y lo seguiré a él donde vaya.

Watching David Silva's movement on the ball and picking out the perfect pass - the vision of knowing where a player was heading, then placing and weighting the ball perfectly - exceptional vision, skill on the ball and a humble superstar. So so sad he's left, but so grateful for having watched him. The PL needs some sort of reward for legends who never won the Player of the Year. Tragic that he didn't in retrospect.
