I played this exact strategy on Felttable earlier today, I had my Grogu up to an 8/16 with 3 shields! I was like oh this is broken… until you realize that the other card just released “Calculated Lethality” was designed with this type of stuff in mind. I had 5 upgrades on him. If he has let’s say just 1 Tie Fighter in space and used Calc Lethal on me, then he now kills my Grogu and his Tie fighter is now a 7/6 turn 3. It was super fun playing with Grogu but there will be many counters to him I’m guessing. Also, a Waylay turn 2, although not as lethal, would still hinder the decks strategy. Anyways, I enjoyed your video! Very good insight!

@@VeiledShotSWU Hopefully not too much, I don't think it would be very enjoyable with turn 2, turn 3 6-6's in play everywhere.

I like the Tempo idea, I think the Yellow/Blue Mando could eventually find a home as a mid-range/control, leaning control side deck that outtempos slower decks. Just based on all the tapping and value you can generate with the blue and yellow cards we are seeing.

I stand by my earlier statement that Mando Blue is going to be a very low key surprise for a lot of people. Mando Security Complex is especially interesting since Shield Tokens also count as upgrades. So getting a Shield Token on a unit with SC gives you a potential 2-for-1 protection with Mando. Then you have things like the "Force Package" as you mentioned, Devotion (which is one of the most slept on blue cards imo), Entrench, and just a lot of really good upgrades in Blue.

Yea, even things like The Force is With Me will trigger mando's ability.

Well this one is a bit harder as the cards were not part of the mod on TTS yet so it was impossible to really play with it.
