Mandalorian's New Starfighter CHANGED Him Forever (Plus Building Mando’s Ship in Minecraft)

Mandalorian's new starfighter gives away a LOT about what the next seasons of The Mandalorian and Star Wars in general are going to look like. And while we're talking about that, I'm also building Mando's Naboo starfighter in Minecraft along with Peli Motto's docking bay.
You will see Minecraft building timelapses intermixed with analysis of Episode 5 from The Book of Boba Fett. It's a lovely little mashup that holds about as well together as Harrison Ford and a giant pet dog driving a spaceship. It's odd, but it just... works, I guess?

What an awesome looking build! Great job. I really have to wonder about the Knight’s journey aspect, because it seems like the story had Mando start as an honorable Knight and have to question his beliefs to properly care for his Foundling. Further, the journey of Grogu also is about taking him off the path of a Knight with the guidance of figures like Ahsoka that challenge the concepts of tradition and nobility. It seems like the two main stars were on the path to be Knights, and now have been forced into positions where they have to forge a new path together to stay with those that are important to them. Kinda mirroring the path of Bo-Katan too. I also don’t see Mando being tied down to Tatooine anytime soon either, as that is the path Boba Fett is taking. Fett might follow more of Athurian-style legend; the rogue turned Knight turned King.

That’s very interesting! I’ve tended to see the first two seasons of Mandalorian as Mando filling in the role of St Christopher. Christopher wasn’t a knight but a pagan who carried the Christ child to safety across a raging river. Now that that quest is complete and he’s been sainted, metaphorically speaking, with the Dark Saber, I see him as learning he needs to tread a new path as someone who can now fully embody what knighthood is supposed to be.
