JK's album is probably my favorite from all the members so far. It's just the kind of music I generally like and for me there are no skips. With the other's albums except Jimin's there were songs here and there that I don't go back to that often. I know I already asked some questions on your other reaction, but I have another one. What is your favorite BTS album or era if you can't name just 1 album. Thanks again for the reaction.

Was wondering if any of your kids and husband share similar taste of the music you like and do they listen to they songs?

Oh, not in terms of K-pop. The kids will listen to some and recognize a lot of BTS songs, but they don't generally listen to it. My husband and I overlap in terms of other genres, but definitely not K-pop. Thanks for asking!

I was expecting this type of music, knowing who wrote and produce the songs, and what JK said in recently interviews. I think it's the Album that I have the hardest time to connect. The reason I love BTS so much is that I love Hip-hop Rap and my other huge Genres is Metal/Nu Metal/Punk/Ska and Funk, and a Korean person, it's hard to find Korean Rap and Hip Hop, that does not feel like they're using Black Culture as Gimmick, that's why I always adored BTS and out of the vocal lines music I can most connect to Taes solo songs. But out of all the Solo Projects, that had the most impact to me was Jack in the Box last year, because that Album and everything around it, was captivating. But Indigo and D-Day, r also no skips for me Layover is the one i enjoy the most soundwise out of the Vocalines Albums, but I enjoyed Face's lyrical content more. With JK it's a great Pop Album, but not the one I connect too much, Seven is my favorite of him this Year. My Favorite BTS Albums r the School Trilogy, Dark and Wild, HYYH 1 and 2, Tear and Face Yourself.

This is the one solo album I was actually dreading because I wanted to love it and support JK with my whole heart but knowing his taste in music-which is pretty much a 180 from mine-I had a feeling it wouldn’t be my thing. And it’s not. I’ve tried so hard to get into it but it’s just not happening. It all seems so…impersonal to me and it has nothing to do with the fact that he didn’t write any of the songs-I fully respect his reasons why he didn’t. But every other solo release felt like a real reflection of the artist, even Tae’s which again, he didn’t write and also didn’t really connect with me. I know these are the kinds of songs JK loves but the album still feels like it was put together by the Pop Star-Making Machine. Nothing screams THIS IS JUNGKOOK! Nearly every review talks about how this song is like JT. This one’s like JB. And this? MJ. The songs aren’t exciting or surprising-they’re basically what most people were expecting. I don’t think he got to showcase his range nor do I think the production does him justice. The one thing I’ll say in his favor though is that he’s such an amazing talent and an incredible performer and that might save some of this for me. The live performance he did for iHeart Radio take SNTY to a whole different level and I loved it. So at least more live performances are something to look forward to. I just wish I didn’t feel so let down by the album. It’s a complete skip for me. 🙁

Hello Virginia, thank you for taking time to share your reaction of this album with us. You repeated over and over, its not my genre, therefore.... and I need to agree. I am kinda disappointed I can´t embrace it more. But the thing is I really dislike this kind of music generally and so its difficult to start liking it just because Jungkook likes it himself. I do not object to all pop, but what´s on this particular album is not my cup of tea at all. Some of it sounds like tropical house which I can´t stand so here you go. He is such a phenomenal vocalist with awe inspiring skills and maturity so I am pretty sad about what he chose actually. Many others love it and its good he walks his own path of artistic discovery, so all should be good .Coming back to My Time, Begin, Still with you or Stay Alive is my remedy :-) I wonder who did all production and mixing on Golden because some of the songs sound so incredibly stale and dated I am genuinely bummed ( that whaling high pitched child-like voice effect so heavily overused on Golden is just ...no). I almost wish he did only an a capella album where his voice would be a star and the rest of tacky arrangement could be skipped. Shot glass of tears and Standing next to you is my jam, the rest is a skip.

@@notbanksy2977Thank you. That makes sense. I like some of Ed Sheeran super old stuff but what he had written for BTS is something I do not gravitate towards.
