It's like banging your head against a wall. Except this is the great Wall of China 😂 No wonder Congress is seeing such a widespread movement to the BJP. Politicians go where they have a future. Rahul G has been given enough and more time to improve the situation of the party yet the truth is congress has only 25 seats apart from the 27 in Kerala and Punjab. 25 seats in 26 states! Even Amethi is gone and rai bareilly can't be far behind. The only reason it got 20 percent of vote is because minorities in the Hindi heartland had no other option. Other than that, congress is completely decimated in most of the country.

MK Gandhi planted Nehru as first PM and then Nehru ensured his daughter was in high politics. After he suddenly died Shastri was PM and he suddenly died so Indira became PM and then she dominated the party. Later on 12 November 1969, the Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi was expelled from the Congress party for violating the party discipline. Religious strife have been a part of India, regardless of who is in power. It should not happen. The Kashmiri Pandits were forced out of their homes and made to be refugees in their own country (...so much for a Hindu nation!) when the Congress was in power. 8000 Sikhs were killed under Congress rule as well, with eminent Congress leaders cheer leading the slaughter! A future PM from the Congress party opined at the time, something to the effect, "When a large tree falls, the earth shakes!" What about IT cells??
