I feel like 'the' vs. 'this' is eerie considering 'the' would imply it's the main neighborhood and now we're stuck in an alternate neighborhood. Not that i personally believe in timeline shifts but this Mandela Effect gives me goosebumps.

This is a perfect example of a core memory. People always say with the Mandela Effect that you can't trust your memory. But some memories from childhood are so ingrained I absolutely trust them and appreciate collage videos like this that prove something very strange has happened with our timeline. I will not gaslight myself. I grew up with this show. And I will always love Mr Rogers no matter how he sings this song. But it changed.

The ME does seem to make things not as good as they were before. It is less inclusive to say “this” neighbourhood rather than “the” neighbourhood. It’s like if you will build it “he” will come which was “they” will come. Both effects have the same sort of impact for the worse.

It doesn't make sense. Its always been "the" to me. I don't care what anybody says. I sang it as a kid. I'm 59 now. I knew these words by heart. "This" doesnt even flow right off the tongue and seems awkward. "The" is a more conclusive reference to the neighborhood in question. In fact, "the" seems to refer a notion of one and only one neighborhood for Mr Rogers and all his friends and audience. On the other hand... "This" would seem to imply that there is more than one neighborhood that Mr Rogers walks through and starts singing. As if... Today... Mr Rogers walks through the door in the New York neighborhood and starts singing. Ahhhh but tommorow Mr Rogers will start singing when he walks through the door in the Chicago Neighborhood. 🤔 In that case, "this" would be more appropriate and make sense.

I had never even heard of this before at least 2 or 3 years ago when a Friend of mine did it for his children - he said it was a custom (Irish) - ahuh sure o.k. But it seems to have picked up speed lately ( not unlike those upside down Christmas trees and bananas) In all my Christmases ( and I've seen a few ) have I ever come across "The Elf on the Shelf" This is worse than Stoffer's Stovetop Stuffing going missing after using that brand for years Thanksgiving AND Christmas. 😡😡😡 Is this a Mandela effect? This is like the song County Road by John Denver, that in this reality has always been Country Roads with an S. I noticed that change in 2015 But the change that absolutely makes me feel scared was the Lowe's missing the 'S for an entire summer Then it was back and all the videos I did about it were gone and the people who commented on the videos had no idea what I was talking about. Every day for 3 months I drove past the store and looked at the signs say LOWE And one night watching TV the commercial had Lowe's and I thought it was residue and I went right online and everyone said it was always like that and they had no memory of the last 3 months of it missing Really scared the hell out of me. If you had someone come to you and tell you the sign for Walgreens was always Walgreen and it never had an S you would think they were crazy. All these little changes. Why do some of us slip between universes or realities or whatever it is? What causes us to slip? Are there slivers, like icebergs, moving, that we slide through, and they move us between them? I wish I knew I wish I knew how often it was happening. I swear I came home today and I looked at the house next door and the color is wrong I have to go back and look at the security footage and see if they painted it. It was white, now it is green. No one lives there. In 10 years no one has ever lived there. I knew instantly that the color is wrong. What if it has always been green? I can't tell people it was white, they will think I am crazy

Isn’t it interesting that this Mandela Effect pertains to multimedia associated with the works of individuals of controversy? For instance, Mr. Rogers just had a biographical film released a few years back played by Tom Hanks. In fact, most films of affected renown seem to star Hanks and/or were directed by Steven Spielberg (another individual of controversy recently.) Not only that, but think about the whole “Berenstain Bears” phenomenon: I distinctly recall it being “Bernstein” in my youth. Funny thing about the word “-stein”; “EpSTEIN”, “WeinSTEIN”, or even “Woodward & BernSTEIN”? Also, songs by Michael Jackson come up a lot… Again, controversial individuals, right? Consider the word “dilemna” now being spelt “dilemma”: Notice the “m & m” now? “Eminem” the rapper? Controversial. Or “Fabreeze” now being spelt with an “-eze” instead? Another controversial rapper: “Easy-E”, the frontman of N.W.A. N.W.A. and BLM? Or Curious George’s tail? “George Floyd,” perhaps? It’s all a code, especially now that Kate Beckensdale is now “Beckensale”. Or how about Hillary Clinton being changed for a time to “Hilary” and switching back? Yes, life after death is much of what the Mandela Effect is about. And as far as the names changing, if a person died in their other timeline then it does appear their name gets altered. A Quantum AI scientist and Stanford professor friend of mine named Stanley Rosenthal, went climbing Yosemite and fell around ninety feet or more. Miraculously he survived. But afterwards.... his name shifted to Stanley Rosal, the "enth" is now "quantum missing".

What I’m getting at when I say “replaced” is that in secret, they’ve either had a contract against them and were killed (made to look like an accident, suicide, or cancer, etc. to the general public.)
