After convincing himself that, THAT is not really Cesar he calls the Bythorne Paranormal Society in suspicion that Cesar is an alternate. First, I’d assume the call starts as normal, up until the part where Cesar says “maybe she saw something?” Mark would then call up the B.P.S., to the protests of Cesar, who would counter with that all he needs is for Mark to come over and turn on his cameras. Once Jonah and Adam join the call, they would start questioning both of them about what they know, especially Cesar. “Cesar” would try to come up with details of the alleged event. Eventually, Mark would become suspicious, questioning his friend with questions he believes only the real Cesar would know. Of course, the Alternate would eventually grow impatient, and would reveal it’s actual self to the call, switching between a nightmarish version of Cesar and the shadowy figure we know and love, attempting to force the fear in order to at least let another Alternate have a chance at Mark or even one of the others, since he was in a different place and wouldn’t know where any of them lived. For Mark it wouldn’t work work strictly because of his newfound anger at the creature that likely killed the real Cesar. Adam, as we know, is unafraid of Alternates, and would simply be excited by the fact that he was speaking to one. Jonah would probably, hopefully rather, believe that it was also some sort of elaborate prank, and assume that the Alternate was not real. So in the end, either the Alternate would try to find a different way to get to Mark, or move on to someone else. (Please note that this is what I believe about the lore of the Mandela Catalogue, so let me know if I got some things wrong.)

No sadly not the alternate ends up actually getting mark to go to the house and traps him in there mark ends up hiding for days and he opens the door the alternate starts laughing infront of him and he says the "you fucking bastard" and kills himself Adam and Jonah are on the call with a different person a woman she claims something was wrong with her cat and that she'll pay them $500 a night (saying if they cant do it in one night) too investigate and when they do Adam gets taken(and killed I believe) and Jonah takes the the car and abandons Adam he then panics and pull over cause he heard noise from the trunk and it cuts too hearing Jonah groan from being stabbed
