Instresting how Swara deliberately ignores d fact that there r a no of dark skinned extremely capable women sports analysts out there who could have hosted d cricket world cup but as usual ,they were ignored .No wonder fairness creams sell in millions of units in India . As a dark skinned south Indian, i have always seen HUGE racism towards south indians from fair skinned north Indians .Even black people studying in India have experienced massive racism from fair skinned north Indians. Humans of Bombay has the same prejudiced mentality. They wont invite dark skinned women athletes to talk

She was trailblazing when it didn’t even exist.. she gave a powerhouse performance in her first role in Shanti….keep going Mandira. You inspire many of us…

I have learned a lot here. Mandira is humble yet elegant and speaks her mind. The way she faced and overcame her circumstances is truly inspiring. More power to her, especially for her gratitude, which is something I strongly believe in and can easily relate to.

She is still in the same amount of grief when she lost him on that day,her lips are saying to deal with the question and eyes are grieving the pain, this one particular question is enough how much she loves her family and stands for them and how strong she is as a person .

I clearly remember how disappointed I was to watch 'Shanti' to get so type casted in ddlj, Shanti was so huge back in those days, watching such a fierce and iconic Mandira Bedi to act so feeble and lovesick was certainly not the best thing to watch 😅

Whatever she explained abt the loss of husband is 100% true. When my papa passed away i felt exactly same, just i couldn't articulate the way she did. She said 1st diwali, b'day..... After the incident are seriously horrible, I have experienced that. Can't imagine what my mom must be going through. There are some things which we can do again ever without that person.

As much as I admire personalities from the film industry coming on this show, I still hope that you continue to give your platform to people who don't have it to share their stories with the world. I am essentially tired of 'Bollywoodization' of almost all talk shows, podcasts etc. They have enough PR to eat their word out. Please do not misconstrue this comment as disrespect to your guest. More power to her.

I would LOVE to see the amazing Nigerian Author and poetess Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie come to Mumbai .I bet this channel and this anchor would never invite her. In fact i would love to see a debate between himamanda Ngozi Adichie and the producers of this channel on colorism and discrimination in Indian media towards dark skinned south indian women and black women professionals .That would b so fun to watch cos Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie doesnt hold back.
