Any opinions on non Indian wearing a sari to a non Indian event. I accidentally bought one on Amazon a fee years ago (was just admiring them, never planned to buy. Thank you for this , as a non-indian woman, I find it very hard for me to find someone to show me how to wear a saree. My husband is Indian , by the way, I wear karmeez/abaya a lot for weddings and other occasions. Never wear a sari before so this DEC I will definitely buy a sari n wear it to my husband's nephews - wedding

She said it's a lycra petticoat, or spanx or corset. You could get those at lingerie stores or stores where you get leggings/ shapewear and stuff. Or you could check Myntra, Clovia or Zivame

I go to this video every time I wear a saree. Simple and clear. Just need a better angle for where to start the pleats. .my pleats tend to be too much to the right and then I'm twisting the whole saree to the left. Otherwise it turns out perfect.
