It’s because of the sample. The album was released as a mixtape, rather than a paid track for copyright reasons. Because of that it could only be put on SoundCloud rather than a paid music streaming service. At least, that’s the answer I read back when it first dropped. I was miffed too. 🤣

Suga is well-known for dynamically incorporating his breathing into his delivery, as well as his laughter. A to the G to the U to the STD -- once you're infected by his "tongue technology" you're never gonna shake it! AGUST D spells out D(aegu) T(own) SUGA backwards -- Daegu is his hometown and I believe D-Town was the name of the underground rap crew he was a part of.

Yoongi (real name of AGUST D aka SUGA) is not only *the producer, composer and songwriter of this song, but is also credited for keyboard & synthesizer* 🤯 AGUS (SUGA backward) TD standing for the underground rap group he had been part of before debuting with BTS. The name of that group was D-TOWN (town Daegu) "I'm from that D" where he was born. The bar *too far from the sugar* makes reference to when in a press conference an underground rapper, who besides telling him and RM that they had sold out to become idols, asked SUGA if his artistic name in BTS was "SUGAR" mocking him. *"Ssaihanuwar"* (It Doesn't Matter) refers to a song he released in his debut years and says "is embarrassing now" because in the lyrics of that song, he says he would "sell 30k" and now in this one, he sells "half a million a year" (back then, it was 2016, now it is much more) so he says it is "embarrassing" compared to what he actually got to sell. This song is FIIIIIREEEEEEEE!!! *GIVE IT TO ME* is the continuation of this song, also fire! Thanks for your reaction 💜

Has anyone told them about the Cyphers yet? The Cyphers are 4 songs by the BTS rapline Suga, RM and J-Hope. In short, because RM and Suga were both underground rappers before joining BTS, they were clowned by other rappers for going K-pop--you sold out, you want to be pretty, you're not hard you wear makeup, etc. They were even trashed by rappers at the time on a national Korean radio interview show. Anyway, the Cyphers are there clapback to those rappers and haters. I love rap but I'm very particular about lyric quality and those are the four coldest diss tracks I've ever heard in my life! I love them because they don't talk about the person's mama, or diss their clothes, or how much money they make. They just immaculately show and tell their level of skill in rapping, their work ethic, and ability to write BAAAARRRRRSSS---explaining that is why those other rappers cannot do what they do, and will never sit where they sit. You will literally feel sorry for whoever they were talking about by Cypher 3 and 4 is just like one blow to the solar plexus after another. They really showcase the different styles of each member of the rapline. RM's wordplay and flow changes are god-tier. J-Hope's flow on a beat is as sick as his dancing. And Suga is not called the Dragon, King&Boss for nothing. You need to watch the lyrics video first to see what they are saying. Then watch the concert performance. I will make another comment with the links. You're going to yell FIVE🤯 so many times y'all should put up a counter in the corner of the video! How has no one suggested these yet? But I'm new here so maybe they have and you haven't gotten to them yet? Sacrilege!
