Do you think a blanket like this is better than a diesel heater? Heaters seem really complicated
@AdventureGearTV
@AdventureGearTV 28 күн бұрын
Can be safer and cheaper in the long run. Diesel heaters have exhaust and require carrying fuel. If you have a decent power station a heated blanket will be better to keep you warm in the long run.

how long does it stay on? i mean without the remote, if you set the temperature, does it works until you unplug it?

4:06 "Gallium nitride" in theory should save 10-20% in the charger, but the inverter in the power station is still converting that DC to AC at a % loss of efficiency. BUT as you said, would not be an issue if it was directly DC.
@AdventureGearTV
@AdventureGearTV Ай бұрын
I’d like to see a DC variant of this, especially since the power brick converts to DC anyway.

Wondering about the putting it under you to sleep on it... I know some electric blankets it's not recommended to do so. And yes would like it to be at least longer in dimension.

@@attainableaudio4533 might not be a good idea. But, this one has very even heating. Not like the blankets with wires.

The Kozeewarm USB Heated Blanket (Battery Operated) on Amazon, charged by USB looks pretty similar to the feature product and costs considerably less, rated to the same temperatures. I wonder if it's a good bet. 🤔🤔🤔🤔

If you really want to save lives….. Talk about different sleeping bags that are rated for subfreezing temperatures. A good arctic sleeping bag is far more reliable than any of these gadgets. Hundred percent reliable and will last for many years. Not having a good sleeping bag seems void of instinctual self preservation to me.

Excellent point. I’d never rely solely on something like this for survival. It’s excellent for improving comfort. Not surviving a freeze.

It’s a woman’s blanket! lol😂 I wonder if a hole gets poked in the blanket if it would catch fire like a lithium battery, now electric blanket are not made to lay on them, but just to lay on top, if you use a comforter on top of the electric blanket covering you, you will stay pretty warm, I can’t use the blankets, I don’t like being hot when sleeping.
@AdventureGearTV
@AdventureGearTV Ай бұрын
It shouldn’t, but I suppose anything is possible. Theoretically, the traditional electric blankets have a higher risk of shock and fire.

You know what they say about men with ringer fingers longer than their index fingers.
@AdventureGearTV
@AdventureGearTV Ай бұрын
Here’s what ChatGPT says: Men with ring fingers longer than their index fingers are often said to have higher levels of prenatal testosterone exposure. This trait has been associated with several characteristics and behaviors, although the links are more observational than definitive. Here are some common associations: 1. Athletic Ability: Studies suggest that men with longer ring fingers may perform better in sports, as this finger ratio is sometimes linked to physical strength and coordination. 2. Risk-Taking: Men with longer ring fingers have also been observed to engage in more risk-taking behaviors, possibly due to the influence of testosterone on their personality. 3. Attractiveness and Masculine Features: Some research has suggested that these men might be perceived as having more masculine features, which can sometimes affect perceived attractiveness. 4. Cognitive Abilities: There is some evidence that finger length ratios might correlate with certain cognitive abilities, such as spatial skills, although findings are mixed. These observations are general trends, not hard rules, and many factors contribute to individual characteristics and behaviors.

There's always Grammer Police as they're called, I'm black and make this mistake all the time and actually take no offense when people point it out, but at the same time to just write a comment solely to correct someone and not further advance or address the question/comment... Well if they have nothing better to do I guess...
