Good point in Canada we pay 1049.99 plus 15% sales tax , ouch . So I guess what I'm trying to say is 1000.00 USD is about 1400.00 CAD plus 210.00 in taxes = $1610.00

something i’ve said before is that $1,000 isn’t that surprising. many many hobbies have times that are WAY more. i think it’s all relative. i’m in no way saying that it is not expensive because it DEFINITELY is. But i think it can be worth it just depending on how it looks and, id argue just as important, how fun it is to build. half of the lego experience is the building experience
