CORNBREAD RECIPE VIDEO: • COOK AND CLEAN WITH ME...
CHICKEN TOT PIE: dinnerthendess...
SUBBIE SUPPER From Sydney and Hannah
SAUSAGE PENNE
1 pound Italian sausage (you can use pork and turkey, sweet and spicy, any kind works!)
3 tbsp. olive oil
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cups sweet peppers in strips
1 lb penne pasta
1 cup chicken stock
3 cup broccoli (can use fresh or frozen, but fresh is best)
2/3 cup half and half
1/2 cup parmesan
2 tbsp parsley
1. Brown sausage (drain if needed) then add onion and peppers 3 to 4 min
2. Add chicken stock bring to a simmer and reduce heat to low simmer
3. Cook pasta in salty water - in the last 3-4 min add broccoli and boil until done
4. Drain pasta and broccoli, add it to the sausage mixture, add cheese half & half and serve!

Hey Mandy, In my part of the world, Maritime Canada, vinegar is added to Chilli to reverse the side effects of two cans of beans, if you get my drift. Its kind of like an anti-toot trick. Thanks for the great content!

These all look good and very family friendly! I commented about a month ago that my 3 year old granddaughter and I watched your Bisquick video while I was cuddling her before nap. The casserole looks delicious 😋 and I agree with you about lining the tater tots up neatly! When I was watching you cutting up the chicken I noticed your board was moving slightly, if you put a damp tea towel under the board, it’ll keep it steady. Oh, and there’s another lovely young lady whom I watch, who has a brilliant way of soaking up the grease, fold up as much kitchen paper as you think you need, put it in the pot and then use a wooden spoon to move it around, such a clever idea.

I love making chilli when it's cold. I do my hamburger on the stove and add it to the rest of my ingredients in to the crockpot for the whole day on low. And the packet of chilli mix is McCormick. One pack per pound of meat, one can per pack of mix of chilli beans and diced tomatoes also per pack. So 2-3 all the way. Yummy!!! Omygosh the bloopers lol. Yall a trip

I'm not a huge Chili fan, but I have tried the Copycat Wendy's Chili and we LOVE it, I always serve it over baked potatoes, mine does not come out as soupy but probably because I only add the juice from the pinto beans, not the kidney beans. I really like the idea of the chicken tot pie, sometimes I"m just not feeling the crust I would normally make. I also think I'll have to make the pasta dish, I really like that it doesn't have a red sauce on it and I believe we would love the addition of the peppers and broccoli. Thanks for sharing, another great week of recipes.

These meals look delish! I figured out recently that if you want to turn your mild or hot Italian sausage into sweet sausage, add about a 1/4 cup to them while cooking and cover. They'll have the perfect amount of sweetness (not too sweet at all) and will be so juicy!

Love tator tott casserole. Just a tip if you like crispier tator totts , just bake them separately with cooking spray on them then top the casserole with them and bake a little longer. Makes all the difference. I bet the tator tott casserole would also be good with crescent roll sheets or puff pastry.
