I can hardly wait to try these 3 recipes. I did the Kielbasa and Hash Brown Casserole for church today (6/10/24) but I chopped two bunches of green onion and 1 tsp minced garlic and 1 cup of grated cheddar cheese and baked for 30 minutes and then added 1 additional cup after the initial baking and then added 1 more cup on top and placed it in the oven for an additional 1o minutes.

Hi Mandy! I love your videos. I know this is an old one, but I hope that you can benefit from this tip! I lucked out and I learned how to use my instant pot from someone who had already been using it. I can tell that you are scared of the steam that comes out when you release it… The best thing to do is when you release it you throw a kitchen towel over it. Not only does it help keep it from being so scary, it helps keep from steaming up the kitchen. Keep up the great work! Your whole family is lovely! Best, Kris

I use parchment paper rounds in my air fryer to prevent sticking and the mess. I get them from Amazon. They are great!

It’s always a good idea to cook your flour for a minute or two to get the flour taste out before adding your liquids. To make a nice fluffy Spanish rice, after it comes to a boil, I let it boil about 2-3 minutes lower heat to real low, cover and cook 10 minutes, then turn off and let sit covered for 10 more minutes…😮

I’m making all of them. But I don’t have a instapot and I could work around that. That steam scares me!! When I make beef stroganoff I use thin slice sirloin, freeze it, then slice it thin. Never used ground beef. But I will. Steven we love you! Nothing like a man in the kitchen. Cole is a handsome young man. AND sweet and polite. We all notice! ❤️❤️💙🐈🥑🍔🍕

Great recipes! I am making the subbie supper first for sure. All the recipes looked so yummy so I will be trying them all. Love sweet Gracie Lou begging for food. Do you ever give her any cat treats during the day to hold her over until dinner at 9pm? You might want to so she does not have to wait 12 hours between breakfast and dinner. @Mandy when you are sautéing in the IP you can use an extra large binder clip on the edge to help it stay in place, I was extremely leery about doing it but I tried it and my clip did not get hot and melt like I thought it would. I use it all the time now to keep my inside from moving around while browning the meats and stuff. I of course use my mitts all the time just to be cautious if the metal does get hot for some reason.

Just a tip on the beef stroganoff. I prefer not to use ground beef...reminds me of hamburger helper and I lived on that growing up. As a 30 something adult I prefer to use either round steak (cubed) or using stewed beef and the recipe i use, uses egg noodles and I split beef broth and a dry red wine it takes the stroganoff up a few marks

I use the same ingredients for beef stroganoff but I sometimes add a can of french oinion soup with the cream of mushroom. It gives another layer of flavor.

My favorite hamburger helper is the cheeseburger one with a half tsp of mustard added. I also love the best choice brand lasagna!! Has to be best choice brand. Not a fan of any actual hamburger helper brand ones except the cheeseburger one...and only with a little bit of mustard added. Lol Sooo yummy!! I watch your videos not only for the recipes but because of the relationship you guys have. My husband and I have the same pick and tease each other love and it's the same with our 5young adult kids and 9 grandchildren. Hey Mandy! I hope you see this but next time you make the chicken, try substituting the water for Orange Juice and adding cilantro! It’s a more authentic marinade typically used for steak but it’ll work perfect for chicken as well! It’ll tender it and make it loads more flavorful! I love your recipes! 💖

I made the sloppy jo casserole tonight and oh my goodness. I did cha ge one thing. Instead of the Velveeta cheese I used an entire jar of the ragu cheese sauce, as I could not find the other anywhere near me today. My husband is a cheese fanatic that is why I used the entire jar.
