Happy new year!! With the new year upon us I thought it'd be a great opportunity for me to share my brand new CD called Tranquil Strings. It features 11 melodic and chill compositions. About the song: Recently, I was appointed the honor of being a Godfather ::insert Marlon Brando voice:: to an amazing couple. It was a special moment for me and I had to reflect on this title with the guitar, as I always do. This was the composition that was born from that experience. I can't stress enough how much I love the sound of nylon strings - steel strings are great, but nylon strings transmit so much more of that tone wood sound - it's just beautiful

Smalltimer yeah! They’re special in sound. Steel string has its own magic but I’ve been enjoying exploring nylon more.

I have followed you since 2009 when i heard Javun. I was hooked. This one has that same goosebumps feeling to me and makes me think of my father in law that passed away to cancer in June. He loved you man. I’m sure he would love this one too. Thanks for the music.

Aaisha Bhardwaj thank you! Partial capos can change some of the chord voicings you already know in a tuning and adding some of those open strings can add some dimension to generic sounding chords.
