I like Chiroti but definitely prefer Pheni. Maduve munji galalli idu favourite. Pheni maaduvudu kashta endu gothithu aadare, ishtu shrama anta tilidiralilla. Dhanyavadagalu Chetan avare idannu namage torisidakke. Arun avare tamagu dhanyavadagalu. Thanks for this, much appreciated. I got excited when I saw the title and thought I can try at home, but I am not skilled enough as this is another level.

We are grateful to young and very enthusiastic Chethan rao.This traditional method should not go waste and he can give training to many youngsters who are interesting and eager to learn.Government should give financial assistance to Chethan Rao and give stipend to trainees. And reach many people and continue many years.He should be given Award in public function.And should be felicitated.

Hi Chetan Your dad made Pheni on my wedding in Mysore Gokulam. In fact he was a chef during my wedding. He must have forgotten. I surched for him for so many years. My father knew him through college. Its lovely to see you wish you all the luck for your married life. I did watched your lovely wedding.

ಹಿಂದಿನ ಮದುವೆ ಮನೆಯ ಊಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಲ್ಲಿಚಿರೋಟಿ ಫೇಣಿ ಇರಲೇ ಬೇಕಿತ್ತು. ಈಗ ಬಹಳ ವಿರಳ. ನೀವು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಟ್ಟ ಪ್ರತೀ ಹಂತದ ರೀತಿ ಶ್ಲಾಘನೀಯ. ತಿನ್ನಲು ಆಸೆ. ಮಾಡಲು ಬಹು ಶ್ರಮ. ಇತ್ತೀಚಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಣ್ಮರೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಪಾರಂಪರಿಕ ತಿಂಡಿ ಮಾಡಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದ ನಿಮಗೆ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು.

Mr Chethan Rao thankyou very much for demystifing the secret. I always relished pheni, each time wondering how it was prepared. Thin beautiful strands of pheni amazed me. It's indeed a laborious process, an art by itself. I used to feel sad when lovely strands of pheni became wet and limp with the application of warm milk. I wanted to enjoy the nice crunchy feeling when I placed it on my palate. So I tried cold milk, not satisfied, I yet again tried curd, just set, firm and sweet. I could see it retained the crunchiness and boora sakkare sprinkled, it's heavenly experience to munch sweetened pheni.. please try.. check it up for yourselves.

I always liked chiroti and pheni , speciall pheni, didn't know so much effort was involved. True , Iit's more of art than craft. Hats off to Chethan Rao. Thank you so much for bringing it to us.
