10 kgs raw rice (i think he was referring to idli rice for this dosa and not regular dosa rice ) ,2 kgs urad dal, 1 kg Poha, and a fistful of puffed rice , soak all of them, and grind,let them ferment for 8 hours minimum and 12 hours maximum and while preparing dosas add salt, and soda ( cooking soda ) and spread the batter on that special tawa for mulbagal dosa, first grease the tawa and spread the batter thickly to the corners and close it with lid after some time , remove the lid and pour ghee afterwards you can remove the dosa, before removing you can spread red chutney dosa curry and take out the dosa,no need to boil inside of the dosa for this particular dosa because we boiled it by covering with lid , it has to get roasted a bit for this particular dosa and we require a little bit more oil or ghee for this.

Sir, chitranna is very frequently prepared in each & every house in Kolar district, the taste is unique due to water in that soil. Less ingredients & yummy taste. Regarding dosa preparation grinding batter & mixing the batter plays very very important role.
