INGREDIENTS :
First keep 6 to 7 Potatoes to boil in a cooker after adding little salt.
RAVA IDLI
Local Rave 3 Cups as shown in the video.
Roast the Rave
Little Oil
Bengal grams 2 to 3 spoons
Curry leaves handful
Cashew nuts few or as per your choice
Bengal grams half cup
Green chillies 2 to 3
Soda powder a small pinch
Coriander
BOMBAY SAAGU
Boiled Potatoes 6 to 7
Chopped Onions 2 to 3
Green chillies 10 to 12
Curry leaves little
Grated coconut little
Cashew nuts 1 cup
Bengal grams paste
Salt to taste

Superb explanation. Use of channa dal by grinding is a new concept. At home we used to fry the rava with oil but from now on dry fry ogarne and then adding oil. We used to use savige. In all a great treat. Hotel type karnataka vegetable palav has always amazed me. Please give us the recipe sir. Thank you sir. Great job

While we have made Rave idli and Saagu many times, I must say both the idli and saagu came out excellent. I would recommend everyone trying this. Sri Krishna Udupa avare idannu namellarigu helikotidhakke nimage thumba dhanyavadagalu. Arun avare, Thanks for your efforts, you have made many people eat better food and be happy.

RAVE IDLI RECIPE Dry roast 3 Cups of Local Rave (Semolina/Sooji?) without any Oil Let it cool For Oggarne (Seasoning) Heat little oil and add Kadale Bele (Chick peas) + Godambi (Cashew) + Hasiru Menesinakayi (Green Chillies) + Karibevu (Curry Leaves) Add Oggarne and Rave and 4 to 5 spoons of Oil. Mix well Add Salt to taste and 1/4 Spoon of Baking Soda and Mix well Rave to Mosaru (Curd) Proportion 1:1.5 Take about 4.5 Cups of Light Curds (Not very thick, see consistency in Video) Add 2.5 Cups of Curd to Rave and Mix. Keep it aside for 5 Mins Add 2 more cups of Mosaru (Curds) and mix Add Kothambari (Coriander / Cilantro) POTATO SAAGU RECIPE Soak 3 spoons of kadale bele (Chick peas) for 2 to 3 hours - Make a Paste in mixer grinder Boil 6 to 7 Aloo gadde(Potatos) with a bit of Salt (uppu) Heat little oil and add Sasive (mustard seeds) Add Kai turi (Grated coconut) + Godambi (Cashew nuts), fry till it browns Add Karibevu (Curry leaves) + Menasina kayi (Green Chillies) + Erulli (Chopped Onion) + Tomato + ing (Asafoetida) Let onions brown Add water and Potato Add Salt to taste and Paste (Kadake bele) Add Turmeric

Being true to profession, and also correctly pointing to the point, the way each ingredients has to be managed, Krishnaji, you have made it. The video has come very nice, like your voice, modulation, and host anna 🙏re, no artificial "captions" needed... Hi Krishna Mari So far I did other way that is i fried oil mustard channa daal cashew curry leaves green chilli then local rava n added bit thick curd then soda. Idlis were ok but surely will try your way God bless you dear.
