Hey Robin! Great tips! You mentioned something about not touching your hair through out the day, this is kind of a problem that i personally face with every day , no matter how much product i put in my hair or how well i style it -it falls off, by the wind or naturally, so i ''have'' to touch it sometimes-restyle it with comb r hands or just put in place, and of course it turns out just awful.
@ManForHimself8 жыл бұрын
Ho about hairspray? If not, then yes, touch it. But use a mirror and take your time.
@kroganoperator8 жыл бұрын
I disagree with #9, don't touch your hair. My hair has less volume then it did when I first styled it at the beginning of the day. Because of wind, humidity, or just walking. So I have to rub my hand through my hair to get it puffy again.

Oh god, there was this one time I was prepping with my band mates for a performance and my drummer just grabbed some of my putty, put it through his hair without properly rubbing it into his hands or hair, and then put some water in his hands and ran it through his hair. Robin, I use water based pomade and have been following the recommendations in this video, which are very helpful. One question: I wash my hair every other day or sometimes every 3 days. I have short/medium length hair. After I wash my hair I apply some water-based pomade, style my hair (straight back)with a brush and then with my hands, and it looks good the rest of the day. But the 2nd day, I wake up, take a shower (but don't wash my hair) I find that it's difficult to style it to make it look as good as the first day If i apply more pomade on the 2nd day my hair starts looking somewhat greasy. What about on the 2nd or 3rd day just using a little water alone and/or some light weight gel to get some styling back in until my next shampoo and pomade application? What would you recommend Thanks.

hey robin, i hope you can help me with my hair my hair literally falls apart after two or three hours After styling ive tried many products but they all have the same effect what irritates me the most is as soon as i use hairspray, my hair wax or gel seems to dissappear, just as if i had no product in it i hope you can give me some tips

Robin how often should one apply pomade!? I've been using Shiner Gold Pomade and I'm just doing a sort of messy look with just my hands. I take a shower everyday so I'm not sure if it completely washes off or exactly how much to add the next morning (I style my hair in the morning). Hopefully this info will be useful in answering my question: how often and when should I use pomade? I'm new to your channel and well this video I'm sure will be useful in helping me style my hair. Thanks so much for this vid and I hope you can help me answer my question. Thanks so much:D

@DavM3107 жыл бұрын

SpaceFetus Actually there is, water based pomade doesn't clump your hair together like hair gel. That is only if you apply it without water.

I have a fine , soft hair and i went to a stylist in order to get some information about ithis kind of hair. He told me to use a cream with light hold or without hold. Also he told me to use the product on dry hair because a damp hair will make my hair softer. I know you are good in this job but i dont know what to do. Should i use the product on dump or dry hair?

I'm using minoxidil foam (Rogaine), and so I cannot use products. HOWEVER! The foam itself does help to style the hair fairly well, surprisingly.
@ManForHimself8 жыл бұрын
+JP Sheehan ah, cool. I'll need to check it out! Hope you're well.
@JP-19908 жыл бұрын
Robin James Your hair is too nice to worry about Rogaine.Minoxodil lol. But yeah, it comes in dropper form and foam form. You're supposed to use it twice a day, so I got both. I use the foam in the morning so that it unwittingly styles my hair and the dropper form when I get back home. It does work. I'm getting quite a bit of my hair back (particularly around the hairline, even though it says it's only for the crown). Only downside is the hair will fall out if I stop, I can't use hair products like conditioners and pomades (as it creates a barrier on my scalp) and I have to wash my pillowcases more often. But those ain't so bad. Sometimes I wonder whether I should just pay upfront for a hair transplant, but I dunno :(

I feel bad for a guy when I see him doing number 7. You're looking at the side of him and it is just so apparent that he was thinking only about how he looked facing forward, in the mirror. Jelled bangs combed to the side with fluff 'n' stuff coming off the back. Nope.
