This is pretty much my daily routine. Pre-style with mousse, fiber foam, sea-salt spray, or even a light clay, and then I blow dry and use a finishing product. Sometimes I pre-style and finish with the same product like Arcadian clay pomade. Great video!

Turns out I've been following your 3 stages of hair styling without knowing. I think the hairdryer is an essential hair styling instrument. I won't do without it, unless I'm wearing my hair unstyled or going for a very natural look.
@pereiraplaza2225 жыл бұрын
For me doing a side part is usually easier without a hairdryer, specially if I want it to have at least some slickness, like Robin has in the beginning of the video.
@Likwidl5 жыл бұрын
@@pereiraplaza222 I've been styling my hair in a side part for a while now. I first dry with the hair dryer in the direction I want to part my hair. Then I use a clay to form the hair into a side part. I then get shine by layering some shiny pomade over it. That's the finishing for me.

Hey! What do you want to do? Straighten or work with the curl.
@DavidBowmanJr5 жыл бұрын
@@ManForHimself Right now, I straighten but because it's thin, I don't really know how to add the texture I see in other people's styles. All of the hair looks like 1-piece instead of "strands." I enjoy having longer hair (it goes down to my mouth) and is short on the sides and back (#2). If I let it curl, it looks unprofessional. I'm willing to play around with anything. Thank you for the reply.

On the subject of hair, Robbo I wonder if I may make a suggestion for something for you to look at. You recommended Nioxin a while ago, which is what I have been using. It's a great product but could be out of budget for some people who have burdens like.... Kids! I was recently recommended horse shampoo by a hairdresser. Horse shampoo and conditioner. You've seen how shiny those race horses are right? Right. Well this stuff is a budget product and it's like a secret has been revealed. Boots do one called Pony but the one I have is Mane n Tail from Superdrug (£5.95 each for Shampoo and Conditioner). It is apparently the same ingredient they use on those race horses. It really thickens up the hair and leaves ultra shiny, really healthy looking hair. Personally, I have found the results to be as good as Nioxin. I hope you don't mind me "advertising" on your channel. I am not repping for the company, it's really just something you might like to look at.

I personally think your style would look much more clean if you shaved the stray hairs off of your neck, and cleaned up the cheeks and went for more of a circle beard look. it would help make it look fuller and avoid the patches and uneven growth. maybe try it out see how you like it.
