Oh my goodness, thank you. I don't have this exact one but I have a similar Manfroto with a knob instead of a lever. Once I locked it, it turned and came off with no problem.

❤ I couldn't find this anyhwhere. Even when I looked at the tripod websites under their ballheads - nothing. Even the pictures don't show the bottom part of the head. I was about to order a different tripod or head thinking the tripod I had was probably not able to separate, but checked online one more time. Oh - this worked for the following tripod (exactly as you said): OBEN tripod Tripod AT-3535 Tripod Head BE-208T. Thankfully I found your video! THANK YOU VERY MUCH! I subscribed! The tripod I have came with a Ball Head attached, but although it is good for when I used the camera on it, it was useless when using a birdwatching scope, so I bought the fluid head (a lovely piece of kit, with the bonus of it being much lighter!). Having not fitted the original Ball Head, I had no idea how to get it off. I thought I knew and struggled trying to get it off after removing the centre column from the tripod. It didn't dawn on my to keep it attached to the tripod in order to get some leverage! Doh!
